Dear Elder Scrolls Online,
I love this game. I've played since the start. Lag was always a bit of an issue but it's never been as bad as this. It never used to happen in battlegrounds, now it's a major factor.
In Cyrodiil, I now play a reflector tank or a healer because the lag makes combat very frustrating, it gets me killed and I miss killing someone because of a stuttering lag that happens every few seconds for a brief moment. I get the same in battlegrounds.
I run the minimum settings and turn all my addons off. I'm playing on a 2019 MacBook Pro, so maybe not the best machine for the game, but it's becoming unplayable.
Maybe I need to stop playing, or buy a better computer[snip]
It would be such a wonderful game if lag wasn't the huge issue it is right now. I'm in a large PVP guild and it is a daily subject of conversation and complaint. I try not to join in because I really don't like complaining all the time. It can be habit forming...
Please save this most beautiful and amazing game. I'd really miss it if I gave up.
