The Cauldron - Fire not showing in the last boss fight

Hello,

during the last boss fight there is supposed to be a fiery "laser" on the floor moving around the arena. Instead, it randomly doesn't show for one player.
When I've had it happen, I could see the aoe spawn, but the fire never showed and I had only a very faint blackish mist instead. To say that this caused multiple wipes is pointless as it is obvious, it's impossible to keep track of where it is when it's nearly invisible, especially while moving and skills are going off filling up the arena.

I have also encountered this bug in my various runs of veteran The Cauldron.
During the spinning flames phase, some or none of us would be able to see the flames, thus having trouble clearing hard mode. As of yesterday (Pre-Waking Flame), this bug was still prominent. Patch notes suggest it wasn't addressed.
There is usually a very faint gap in the smoke and a few tiny embers where the laser should be, but with my poor graphics I cannot see the embers, and the gap is impossible to perceive while moving around the arena.
Please fix this asap; as much as new content is fun, I know many are going to be farming the Waking Flame motif now and will be stuck on the final boss because of this.

Thanks for informing me that the bug is still present. I was hoping it'd be long gone by now, especially with no one addressing it.

our group encountered the same issue. it made hard mode extreeeeemly hard

Figured that leaving the instance (not all players at once :P) and rejoining the dungeon will fix the issue.

Can confirm that this fixed the issue for me when it happened.
If you bump into the issue, do this and the fire should show as intended.

Just did this for rando and nothing dropped from final boss. I was the only one who didn't die several times but got nothing!
