Set bonus
(1 item) Adds 129 Weapon Damage, Adds 129 Spell Damage
(2 items) Dealing direct damage with an area of effect ability creates a 6 meter shadowy whirlwind below your enemy for 7 seconds. Enemies within the whirlwind take 297 Physical Damage each second and increase their damage taken from your area of effect abilities by 5%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

I'm on PS4 and can't test my question. Does Werewolf Heavy Attacks (Berserk morph) and/or Two Handed attacks (Forceful passive) trigger the whirlwind?

This is a good question - I'll try to test it out.

However, this set is just not good as it is currently tuned. <50% uptime on a weak DoT and ultra-niche damage taken debuff?

This set would be much more interesting if it increased the duration and the magnitude of the debuff to 15 seconds (so 100% theoretical uptime) and 10% and then allowed the debuff to apply to the AoE damage of all group members. The net effect of the group DPS increase likely would not surpass that of Encratis since so many of the hardest-hitting damage sources in PvE are single-target.

Those changes would also make the set interesting for PvP whereas currently it is completely not viable.

After quick testing - the 2H passive does not activate the set.

Hm, maybe it's a thing for Stamplar in PVP as Jabs should proc it?

Stuhns + Rush of Agony + Prior Thierric
Toppling Charge -> Jabs -> Dawnbreaker (and some more Jabs^^)

Sorry if that is a stupid idea, i'm just a potato with spikes in PVP

    Edit: typo

I wasn't sold on it as it was. Filling my Pro/Con list I wanted to see if it would be at least interesting with my aoe heavy build. Thank you for looking for me.

It was a really neat build idea. If it were tuned higher it could be a really nice set.

I'm going to leave some feedback to that effect in the official feedback thread. If more do so then who knows, maybe it might receive a buff before it goes live?
