Companion Rapport Bug?

Hey everyone!
So I keep doing the mages guild and fighters guild daily quests to level rapport on Bastian and Mirri. But sometimes when i hand them in, i dont get shown the rapport increase notification on the bottom right of my screen. So my question is: Is the rapport not increasing (Im not on cooldown) and the quest hand in is buggy? Or is it increasing and the notification is buggy? Thx in advance.

Mirri only gets rapport increase from the FG daily while Bastian only increases for mage guild dailies. Maybe that's what you're seeing?

Also, seems a somewhat silly question, but are you making sure the companion is still out when you turn the quest in? They have an unfortunate habit of not making it through wayshrines, loading screens, ponds, etc., and Mirri has ditched me during an excavation on more than one occasion.

I didn't get rapport for either daily and I know I had the right companion for each.

I also didn't get Mirri rapport for the Ashlander relics.

Not nearly. It's still somewhat close to the middle of the bar for both.

Just following up, I did another FG quest with Mirri and did get a rapport increase, but still nothing from Numani-Rasi.

In other threads that brought up the issue of the inconsistency of Ashlander quest rapport, it was suggested that having the Clanfriend achievement might be a prerequisite. (They did match other rapport gains to achievements, like getting a certain amount for finishing a museum collection in front of Mirri and then subsequent gains when you revisit the completed collection with her daily.)

Do you have that already?

I don't believe turning in the daily quest automatically shows you an increase. The FG/MG awards 125 points. If you need 126+ points to reach the next rapport level, then it won't show. My experience as I gained higher rapport levels, I would not always receive a message indicating a gain in rapport.

Of course I've been wrong before....or so my wife has told me. 😁

I just checked this - still get the +125 rapport for Mirri from the Ashlander daily. I don't have Clanfriend title. I make sure she is present inside the yurt when I turn in, don't know if it makes a difference.

I don't know about the fighters' guild dailies, but I can definitely confirm the Ashlander dailies are bugged. Up until her rapport was about 3,000, the Aldruhn dailies worked fine. After that, they only worked about every 3 or 4 days.
