ZOS can you add books to furnishings?

Can you please add the ability to collect, and build or place books onto empty bookshelves?

That's already possible. You can place any of the found lore books from the mages guild vendor. There are also several book furnishings throuh out the game.

I have a grand library home with every mages guild book in a bookshelf. You just gotta play with them and have the right shelfs

Some of the older shelves don't have enough shelf space to make it look right or make the book unable to be interacted with, unless the book is sticking way out. Most of the newer stuff doesn't have that issue.

I got some examples from my house for you OP. All of these have readable books.


This first one as you can the books are a bit tall so don't quite fit the shelf perfectly as you can't see the tops of the vertical books. It still looks okay but not as nice as it could.

This a newer bookshelf, there are no issues at all with this shelf. All books are readable and sitting naturally in the shelf.

This older shelf luckily has thicker shelving so you can sink some of the books into the shelf to give the appearance that the vertical books are sitting correctly.

As you can see you can play around with arrangements with some of the older shelves. But they don't work as neatly as the newer ones.
