Hello, fellow gamers.
After running vSCP for a literal month to get a single drop of Zaan mask style page (RNG hates me) a few times I noticed one odd thing happening in Orzun and Rinaerus fight. When Orzun summons ice pillars, Rinaerus casts ice hail and the group is supposed to hide behind the pillars - the pillars break before Rinaerus finishes his one-shot attack and party has no more place to hide and wipe. It only happened three, maybe four times out of all my attempts (and they were many, MANY attempts) so I'm not sure what to make of it.
I should emphasize: both ogres at the moment of occurrence are up and healthy, so it's not like you lose protection just because you killed Orzun too soon.

Did anyone else encounter that? Is this some sort of boss behaviour bug or an intended design? If latter then what causes it and how to avoid this from happening?

Would appreciate any insight!

uh, it is a bug that happens. sometimes (rarely) the pillar -> hail mechanic will play twice in a row, orzun will summon pillars twice before the first hail, then pillars will not exist for second hail. this bug usually happens when you ignore orzun and push rinaerus too hard.

So it is a bug after all. Thought so but didn't want to jump to conclusions and blame the bugs for potential missplay.
    Thank you!

    Also, hi, zvavi. :D
