What in the world are "Endeavor HUMANOIDS"?

OK- before you reply, this is because apparently Endeavor humanoids (the daily from yesterday) does NOT include goblins or elves- I'm unsure it counts Dremora but it DOES count cultists? Aren't cultists just humans that belong to a cult? My guild mates where saying they were having the hardest time trying to complete that one until they came across a camp of cultists & took them out super quick.

Also- suggestion: instead of having us kill 10 "humanoids" or whatever, why not mix it up & make it more challenging? Like, "Kill 5 of each: humanoid, daedric, spector", etc? Maybe that'll be more like what the weekly will be like.

I just killed some people in Wardenfell outside of one of the towns. Those are Humanoids, you know, 'human' races. It's be funny if Argonian/Khajiit didn't count though.

It shouldn't count Dremora. They'll probably be included in "Kill 10 Daedra"

    Argonians do count too.
    Oddly enough, vampires do not.
    Hoping for more playable races

Dremora and the like do not, nor do human skeletons. I ran several anchors and didn't get a single point in this.

Also, from testing the class skill kills on the pts, I remember you don't need to use only class skills, but with other people around it looks like you may need the killing blow.

They have to be a potential source of Soylent Green.

Goblins are by nature contaminated and Elves are superior beings. Innocents going about their everyday lives is another story.

Critters count for class skill kills. I certainly impaled some bugs and stuff and eventually got completion.

    Well...

A humanoid (/ˈhjuːmənɔɪd/; from English human and -oid "resembling") is a non-human creature or being, or a robot, with human form or characteristics. The earliest recorded use of the term, in 1870, referred to indigenous peoples in areas colonized by Europeans. By the 20th century, the term came to describe fossils which were morphologically similar, but not identical, to those of the human skeleton.[1]

I guess zos is on different level than most of the world.

Based on the Monster Hunter achievement, humanoids are members of any playable race.

While the definition is correct, you have to think about what they have certain things categorized under in development. While they fit under the conventional definition, how ZoS decides to define them within the tasks so that they can get more specific with various other types of entities within their list of NPC types and other games are known for doing similar to make those tasks more specific toward certain NPC types. What we want the definition to be may not fit with what they're going for because they're intending to separate these into more specific groups within the tasks to keep variety up (though imo, it's unnecessary).

As for the OP, it really depends on what they marked the cultists under since a lot of systems have to be fine tuned to give things like scaled loot, unique drops, quest objective items, and now even leads. There are also several types of cults that have some sort of affliction that kicks them out of those lists.

I completed this challenge in Cyrodil by firing the test siege equipment at the dummies. The ones where you do the intro quest. Has no idea, was just playing with it.

From the descriptions it sounds like anyone who is able to be fed upon via vampire's feed or the Blade of Woe is eligible for that category.

Ah, those dummies are the banes for anyone trying to do a pacifist challenge. In ESO, dummies are people too
