Pads in vCR portals sometimes not working

Pads in vCR portals seem to sometimes not be working. This appears to be more common in +2 and +3 instances. Synergy will simply not appear when you are on top the glowy pad. The given pad may work for some players but not others in the same group so it is not a case of a particular pad not working for everybody. EG, I was in an instance where I got to the pad first and had no synergy so just stood there par swapping and dancing back and forth over the pad trying to get a prompt while both my team mates arrived and successfully synergy'd up. Bar swapping did not clear the bug, you still won't get a synergy so this may be a little different issue than the long ago pad synergy failure issues. Bug is happening often enough to make +3 clears for groups that do portals quite a bit more gamey. Half of the attempts for one of the groups I was in last week failed due to this and this week it killed 2 of our +2 attempts. The bug seems far more common on +3 and +2 runs. Our +1 run didn't get any bug whereas it straight up killed any chance at the +3 as it was happening quite often.

I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

    we figured out what this is. It's a positional desync. We had a player in the portal saying he was on the pad synergizing but it was doing nothing, but the other players actually saw him behind the pad.
