Why did I get a lead for The Reach from Blackwood - solved, kinda

I got a lead for the Ancient Extraction Tool in The Reach from the dig for Kalada's plumb. Why?

EDIT: Well my guildies say this is common for them. I'm codex complete and the first time I've gotten a random lead.

So, I take it "no coments" means this is normal now? To get a random lead for another zone @ZOS_GinaBruno ?

I don't know but I am curious how you came to that conclusion.
Elder Kings II is a Role Playing Elder Scrolls mod for Crusader Kings III.

Most of the blackwood leads don't drop there, but you scry them in blackwood. So ye, common. There are 20 new leads for the 4 new mythics. Most drop elsewhere. They couldn't make all of them drop in blackwood, but they didn't want people to start pre-scrying leads before they got blackwood, so that's the end product.

Um, this statement is just... off. All the other mythics work that the leads drop in multiple zones, but you need the DLC/chapter lead to finish - guaranteeing that only those with the content can finish the mythic. Generally, if a lead drops in Auridon, you scry it in Auridon. I haven't started the new mythics yet, but I'm assuming that's true, because several guildies have commented that they bought Blackwood because they had all the other pieces for the mythics.

The reason I asked is because this is the first time I've gotten a lead (albeit a zone lead) outside of the "proper" zone. It's definitely not how leads generally work.

I’ve had many zone leads drop from other zones. Outside of a some furniture items, I have not had a lead for Coldharbour - as example - drop in Coldharbour. Perhaps you’ve not noticed it before, but this is something that has been normal since Greymoor launched.

No, I'm not talking about leads that drop in IC only being able to be dug someplace else because it's not possible to dig up leads in PvP areas. You're confusing the two.

This is a lead that dropped from an EXCAVATION. No, I haven't had it happen before. maybe I"m lucky (unlucky) but I've dug up every lead at least 3 times, some as many as 58 times, and this is the first time that has happened.

Could it be a game development quirk. Something like a spreadsheet with item codes got a mix up during a build.
