Crafting table not registering number of items already crafted

Prior to the Blackwood update, whenever I would craft an item, the window showing the item that was being crafted would update with a number in the upper right corner indicating how many were in your inventory. This no longer shows any numeric information, removing any feedback that items were actually crafted without having to back out of the craft window to check inventory directly.
