The idea of companions sounded promising. The reality of companions did not IMO live to that promise.

We asked for a reduction on the busywork in the green tree, we got nerfs in the red and blue tree instead.

Proc sets are going to be... 'flavour' after the patch.

I guess I am somewhat looking forward to the new area/story and the overland 'events'. And grateful that there is no grindathon incoming.

I have a number of add-on updates that I need to make, and not enough time to make them.

I plan to unlock the companions and get them started in my hireling training program. After that, resolve whatever pesky problem plagues Blackwood.

I'm kind of hardcore player, 36 toons above cp1180.

But: did not play yesterday.
Don't feel encouraged to play today.

Am disappointed of 6 weeks unfixed inventory bugs on xbox, that have huge impact on the sales.
Related: disappointed by new highprice items, when the bad sales don't allow me to earn enough gold to buy them.

Am disappointed by the upcoming nerfs to monster sets and sets like Mad Tinkerer for magica classes.
Am disappointed by the coming reduction of damage you gain from CP.
Disappointed of CP I don't assaign as I have no use for them (for slottable CP that I don't need as I can slot only 4).
Am disappointed from the frustrated discussions in guildchats, about the issues mentioned above.

Nothing that keeps me focussed, so will just login now and then to refill some guildtrader slots.
Then explore blackwood when it launches.
Then it depends, if I get some motivation back to begin daily quests again or not.

I'm always excited for new chapters and zone DLCs.

However, I'm not planning to jump in and race to complete all of the new content as quickly as possible; for instance, I only recently got around to completing Greymoor and Markarth.

Still, I plan to create a new character so I can grab the new inn room for free, check out what the companions are like, and of course explore the new zone.

I'm looking forward to it, the recent lore trailer they released has me hyped for story/lore reasons and I'm excited for the companions. Also want to take a look at the new tutorial.

Be less than pleased over the fact that the main feature of the chapter is some useless compnaion system instead of something useful like a skill line or weapon types, burn through the content in the chapter in about 2-3 hours due to it's lack of challange then go back to being annoyed at the lack of pvp stamplar viability.

I'm not a huge fan of getting my skills, gear, cp, and fun nerfed every 3 months. The chapter itself is meh.

I was going to buy it for companions - two copies for our family accounts. I had the impression they would help us do more advanced dungeons than we can duo together now.

But they are, not quite but for all practical purposes, useless for that purpose. I wouldn't buy one copy even at 75% off.

I quit PVP after they cut it down to 19 sets and have just been doing a bit of overland the last three months waiting for them to change it back. Except that it now looks like all U30 is going to do is nerf monster helms, procs sets etc across the board, PVE as well as PVP. Honestly, I'm not sure if Ill keep playing. It feels a bit like we're in one "test" or another all the time and I'm always waiting for it to get back to "normal." I think I've finally realised this is the new normal... Still trying to log in each day but not feeling like doing much beyond daily reward, horses, and maybe an RND to use up enlightenment.

I would not have bought it at all except for the fact that our prog group voted to do the new trial right after launch. I am interested to see how some of the new sets might perform in PVP, but that could have waited for a big sale.

PS4 here....we still have couple weeks to go before it drops but I'm apprehensive about the performance. Last several chapters have been a mess on opening week, I'm sure this will be no different.
