Honestly, if you need 8 hours to do the maintenance, you need to inform us how it is going or if you are changing the servers or ...nah something.
Gossip are killing us.

"Ey, And here you can see how not to do it, so we're adding another two hours of maintenence! Hype!"

Providing timely, accurate and sufficiently detailed information has never been a strong skill with ZOS. I have seen some brief sparks of hope over the years, but they have soon faded. I was frustrated at first, but years later I no longer bother to complain, and I don't expect anything to change in this respect.
