Idea: Armor sets for farming crafting resources and fishing

With the introduction of CP 2.0 and all it's dedicated boosts to different aspects of crafting and gathering resources it got me thinking how there is no armor that will increase your yields when gathering resouces, including fishing.
So I propose having sets that have bonuses such as doubling drops from resources, speeding up harvesting times or increasing chances of refining legendary tempers. Maybe a set where the fifth bonus skins fish as you catch them with an increased chance at perfect roe?
Make them CP level 160 and available for purchase at a vendor to keep them out of the hands of low level farming bots.

There was supposed to be a Mythic ring that impacted harvesting. It's not included in Blackwood despite being previewed...and I hope that ZOS actually makes sure that Plentiful Harvest is working correctly before that implement anything like it.

I saw the leaked comments on what that ring was was supposed to do. It would have been heavily abused and would have upended the mat market in the game by an insane extent. I don’t think we’ll ever see anything like it in the game.

So I looked into that and this is the Mythic:

Harvester‘s Hope-Ring - This ring will apply a stack of bonus material chance from harvesting. It does not apply to Crafting Surveys or holiday events.

So it sounds like it just gives you a higher chance to get the biggest yield already possible from a node. For Alchemy ingredients that means your still only getting two ingredients per node max and it's a better chance at that, not guaranteed. Not sure how that could be "heavily abused". And considering they are totally willing to blow up the actual combat systems to make the game cater to new players and casuals why wouldn't they want to "upend the mat market" to make that part of the game more accessible to them as well?

    No please.

My tank and healer characters already carry around 3+ different sets of gear to use for combat. I don't want to feel the need to carry another one or several for different farming activities.

So you'd rather spend an extra hour farming than take 2 minutes to change gear?

My farming character is a DD, so she has her DD gear and her speed running farming gear. Two full gear sets ain't bad on the inventory.

If I'm also going to be storing and swapping full gear sets for fishing and crafting, that's going to get annoying. You know how players already complain about green tree micromanagement with CP 2.0? Swapping gear around in order to do my writs, then swapping out to go do other things is the same thing.

At least on PC, I have addons I could download. Console players have to play the gear micromanagement game manually.

Well if it was too much trouble for some they could continue to farm in whatever gear they like. But at least for those of us who hate farming it would give us the option to take a couple of minutes to switch out gear in order to save a bunch of time running from one node to another, easily the most boring and tedious in-game activity.

They should take this concept and apply it to cyrodil. Make sets of armor that increase the efficacy of siege so that when people are zerging, there is a hard counter to it - people playing castle defense in siege armor that can bust up a zerg with some well placed meatbags/coldfire shots, or oil drops. And if the armor sets were built right, they wouldn't provide any benefit in other areas of combat, so there would definitely be pros/cons to setting yourself up that way.

I get that asking for specialized sets like this opens a can of worms for other ideas but what I'm asking would be a quality of life convenience for people that might shake up mat prices but wouldn't really affect the play experience of others while what you're asking for directly impact other players.
Besides it would make it almost impossible to take a keep. It's already to the point that it's sometimes necessary to server stack a keep and open breaches on multiple sides just to be able to push through one without getting melted.

There's no "extra hour" to be lost.

You're asking for new faster farming buffs which don't currently exist.

Now imagine if someone didn't have a craft bag but wanted to use this hypothetical new gear. Besides the inventory crunch already now that player feels in order to "farm best" they need 2-3 new armor sets? That's like 10-15 inventory spaces.

Even putting aside craft materials that go straight in the bag, I at least pick up lots of chests and thieves' troves (sometimes pickpocketing). So I have 10-15 fewer inventory spaces available if I optimize for farming now with this system.

The much simpler answer from my perspective is to add new or additional levels to the existing CP system before we create 5-piece 'harvest mat' sets.

Not to mention that when you're out farming mats sometimes you gotta fight. Can't swap during combat. Skilled players can decimate most overland without much need for equipment but not everyone is as skilled.

    EDIT: Fixed math.

I didn't see that in the patch notes. Do you know which week it was added?

v7.0.2 says: "Removed some remaining in-game references to an early Mythic jewelry piece, the Harvester's Hope-Ring, which was ultimately not added to the game at this time."
