I had that trouble on PS4 today during the early afternoon. I had to try 3 times before i could get into the game.

On PC/NA my client crashed after I selected a character. Got a popup window asking what I was doing. Logged back in without issue.

I've been complaining about that endless screen for ages. It seems ZOS doesn't give a damn about fixing these things.

And yes. I too am waiting forever to get through it. Alt-F4'd a couple of times and it *may* finally take this time....
