1. The boss initiates combat from with the entrance hallway. Literally a distance of at least 50 meters and proceeds with a channeled attack that will OHKO most players not ready for it.
2. The daily boss quest occasionally does not register the kill, likely due to the combat initiation distance. As such players can often find themselves fighting the boss multiple times to get credit.

I can also confirm the boss is aggroed for too quickly.

Still not working right. Killed him twice so far.

But does update if you wait for him to respawn and he pops right on top of you
