Patch deauthorizes computer, login timeout

Once again, on my wife's machine, todays patch creates a timeout on login, and the apparent issue is the computer is not authorized and after a long winded investigation (45 minutes) we were sent an email verification code to authorize the PC. Is there a way to do this quickly??

I realize this is a known feature to protect unauthorized account access, however, the "bug" I am highlighting is that the ESO launcher, after entry of account name and password, does NOT ask for verification most of the time, so the computer is not authorized and the launcher ticks by for a few minutes until it times out. A patch triggers my wife's computer to be de-authorized almost every time, and getting to the point where the launcher acknowledges verification required is a nightmare.
