hımm, interesting title... what do u mean. i like buying motifs. Nearly i got all of them. Paid millions. For what? For nothing ofc. Am just rich . Any way, these motifs are art. Yes they are art and i want to see all of them at my home. So i need dulls. Lots of. home adding is a kind of mini game in ESO. SO zenimax must develop it. its pity ppl cant see-dont know-dont mind- its pitty for designers-its pitty for rich gamers (i paid millons for nothing) etc etc etc..

I believe this person wants display mannequins as furniture for their home so they can show off all the motifs they've learned.

Do you mean armour stands? Because if so yes this would be amazing to furnish our homes with.

Ahh thanks. Yeah, that actually sounds like a pretty cool idea, although with how many motifs there are, I really hope ZOS increases the furnishing cap to accommodate them.

Absolutely yes, unfortunately with the current item limit on furnishings this would not be anything close to as awesome as it could be.

Given so many motifs one would just not be able to practically display many at all :(

Let me add, how about if one completes a motif they can an opportunity to craft a full motif doll to display. Make it an achievement as well and another crafter quest line even!

I recall being able to do this in TES:V in my homes and loving it! However, i feat the limitations of the game right now make this almost impossible- it would require more space in housing. And that seems to be a continuous no-no.

We have more than 100 Motifs and Style Pages out there. Times up to 7 pieces per, carry the 1, divide by Pi....

Too many for the Housing item limit.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That could be managed, make the mannequin interactable;e and each click passes through either leather, cloth, or heavy same for weapons. Then make the mannequin a single entity. Even still though given the house item limit this idea is already impractical except for maybe allowing a few to be placed in a house.

Though maybe they could make a fairly intense crafting achievement reward that would allow a single mannequin interactable in your home and as you lean motifs you can add those to the list of available views for the mannequin, this keeps the item limit down and allows crafters to continue to earn crafting rewards to display their motif accomplishments.

Assuming you mean armor mannequins, then yes we do need them. Its probably the second most requested housing feature after more furniture slots.

No need to multiply each Motif by the number of pieces (which could potentially be 7-8 if one wants to include weapons). But, indeed, 100 is too much for the vast majority of houses available.

Unless... Have you ever played Skyrim with the Solitude Museum mod (guess that was the name)? It was basically a massive house with activators for every single thing you could collect in-game, from armours to Treasure Maps (those were freaking hard).

What if the Antiquarians, perhaps associated with Cyrodilic Collections, get enough funds, maybe even from the players willing to embark on this journey, to expand their business into a Museum? A mix of House of Orsimer Glories (minus the bugs) with Crafting and Antiquities system. Some items in this Museum, like mannequins, should be crafted, requiring one to know all chapters of each motif they want to display. But also pre-made activators placed for furnishing from Leads (e.g. Sacred Chalice of Ysgramor, Carved Whale Totem, Dwarven Puzzle Box), things from Local/Achievements Furnishing Vendors, incentivizing people to complete milestones and achievements (e.g. Augur of the Obscure, Fan of False-Face) and checking upon Luxury Vendor (e.g. Dwarven Crystal Mechanism) more often, getting better in-game to get their own Undaunted Busts to pair with their probably already earned Trophies and why not some of Crown Stores items (I crave for a Daedric Artifacts display ).

This could be a massive addition, maybe a small DLC on its own, after all, a massive non-players house would need to be added but, unlike them, we wouldn't have direct control over the furniture and with this, the Museum could be almost lag-free because it could be partitioned into different sections and then loaded separately, like loading basic stuff like main models and textures during the initial porting-in, but individual items and their own resources only when loading their own section.

I would love to have other characters as house guests, and this idea of mannequins that you can display different motifs on. It would go well in a room with like the loom and what not.

Legacy of the Dragonborn (a permanent fixture in my Skyrim playthroughs) - GREAT mod. But let me tell you about the number of mannequins in there.... somewhere in the hundreds - and they more than occasionally move, yes, by themselves....

I'd love mannequins in ESO housing, but NOT if they're going to move around!

Absolutely not, especially after a creepypasta I ended up reading "accidentally" O_O

But I believe that partitioning this Museum into smaller sections would prevent that. I know they would probably need to be smaller than each floor of Halls of Regulation in Clockwork City because several times I entered that place and the Factotums near the door were moving to their standing position

To counter the 7 pieces per set item limit in housing concerns, ZoS could just have a single object which has the whole set on it. One item. One model. One mesh. One texture. Done.

No.. NoNoNoNo... No. No no no... NO. We want to display OUR outfits, not the default motifs. If you can't customize it there's no point. Also, that idea involves remaking everything for zero benefit, a mannequin would already be one furnishing item.

    Seriously, so much no. no.
