The Ayleid season crate is mind blowing very well done I must admit

Such a wide and diverse variety of extremely good looking mounts,outfits,emotes,pets,skins and housing items,I believe for me since I started playing was the most impressive one ,Flame Atronach comes at close second, correct if I am wrong, but are there even more Legendary,Superior and or Epic rewards than commonly available?

I won’t get these crates, cause the mounts are nothing magical for me. But I am happy that other people love them.

This crate season, the Spidelink Red eyes are a steel at 40 gems!

They are the true Radiant apex reward! Everyone and their mother will get them.

I also love the fisher outfit, and the blue skin.

I will have to chose which one I want more, but I know For a Fact “Wild Hunt Crates” will come back in April.(fingers crossed)

And then I will have lots of Left over gems!

Honestly I think the apex mounts are horrible. They're just the usual mount types with a different kind of armor attached to them - boring.

The (incredibly overpriced) radiant apex mounts and the (very reasonably priced) non-apex mounts are very well done though and I really like them. And I like a lot of the other stuff, I think this is one of the better crate seasons.

It's extra paid content with rng, it's nice (except mounts) but impressive? It's exaggeration imo. Sticker book for sets collection was impressive. Performance fix for already released content would be impressive. Some clear plan for what is gonna happen with cyrodiil, pvp, procs and end game in general would be impressive:)

i have the newest radiant apex -- its nice, but i still like my prowler apex better.

the spiderkith eyes are fire tho.

My favorite item is the fact that they lowered the rate on every Epic, Legendary, and Apex drop in these crates and now all you can usually manage out of a pack of 15 is 2 superior items and 150 gems.

I'm so glad the fisher costume was in these crates as its perfect for my near new master angler character. I missed the one from last year from daily rewards.

It feels like the smart thing to do is wait on crates till a few weeks because the % the first week they came out where a lot lower.

That’s just your RNG. I could say that it was better or that it’s best for the first pallet (is there no term for the pack of 15?) to get you “hooked” but that was just my RNG — I got an apex mount in my first set and I very much like them as the armor is stylish and the mount is nothing over the top. For my taste, I thought the Potentate’s mount armor was ugly and the glowy Svovengarde mounts were obnoxious, etc. This is the first season where I liked most of the items well enough to make purchasing worthwhile.

I disagree...pretty much everything good is in the 100 gem bracket when in the past skins used to be in the lower bracket and the crown crates I opened gave me nothing but low bracket trash like the lame mask and junk

I have gotten 15 crates packs a handful of times through the various crates over the years and not once did I pull an apex mount out of 15 crates regardless if I got them day 1 or day 20

Personally, I disagree...quite much...I find this one of the worst crate seasons ever. Items were not that impressive and the apex mounts look a bit "non-radiant". Dare I say, most everything seemed quite generic from the perspective and whole point of buying crates for flashy things? The only plus I suppose is the ridiculously over-the-top effects radiant apex mounts being sold for gems finally. That however, I am guessing wasn't just a crate decision, but a marketing one we will continue to see in the future. Huge kudos to ZOS for that part if so.

It might be because I only have 18 (free) gems left, but I don't recall anything that really stood out. (Already had the fisher outfit.)

It’s good that there are different crate seasons for different tastes then. As someone who doesn’t like most flashy things, I’ve been very pleased with many of the items in these crates, including the apex mounts!

I assume you talk about Legendary tier mounts? Cause Apex tier mounts in Ayleid crates are the most boring Apex mounts so far - even worse than Nightfall Apex mounts
I especially dislike that mounts are not pure white - they have beige-colored fur and some darker spots, which look more like dirt for me.
Armor color also looks dull - I would love if it was mostly shiny silver + shiny golden ornament. Mounts would look very tidy and striking with these color combinations - I would even open much more crates, cause I always wanted to have pure white senche mount in my collection. And this current senche has such cute dark brown eyes It would look amazing all together.

Ayleid Apex mounts - simple animals with simple voices, in fancy armor. Zero effects at all... The tiny, mildly glowing gem in their helmets is worth 400 gems



If somebody wants, I can post showcase video, but there is really nothing to show... It's basic mount (with nice idle animation for home). The only nice thing about this horse model - they fixed the derpy open mouth And they finally remade eyes, so eyes look much better and more alive (even though the horse still doesn't blink). However, both of these things (eyes and mouth) might have been fixed in Akaviri horse model already - I don't have that horse so I can't check.

I wait for Iron Atronach crates with fear and, as always, some hope. I really want to see well-done Apex and Radiant mounts again. I don't even dream of some special mount voices anymore... Just nice new models and cool special+sound effects would be great

I see that people like even these mounts, so I guess it's true
But just for me personally, it's very sad to see such simple Apex mounts in new crate seasons. Nothing special and shiny to chase, no motivation to play as much Beautiful mounts are my only endgame, and good-looking mount for me is worth just as much as a whole year of content (sometimes even more).

As for my fav items from Ayleid crates... Of course, Spiderkith Eyes - I was waiting for that since we got it datamined

I also absolutely love summoning effects of Culanda-Born Senche and Varla-Born Wolf But to my great sadness, their "rearing up" effects are very simple - we have seen such simple effects many times already... How could designers create such amazing effects as we can see summoning these mounts, and not include these effects for their "rearing up" animations?.. So unless designers kindly add their summoning effects to their roar and howl respectively, I will pass on these mounts, with great sadness.

But I plan to buy Welkynd-Bord Courser, at least. He has mildly impressive summoning animation, but his rearing up animation is totally amazing

I much prefer these kind of apex mounts over the sparkle, frostfire, fungi, vampiric corpse, transparent etc abominations we usually get.
Don't think I've ever prefered the apex mounts over the lower tier mounts, but this time I do. The nix-ox is just too damn blue.
The guar get a pass because guars are always great.

Although, it feels like too many items have been put in legendary category that seems like they would be epic or superior. Like the furniture. Seriously, stop putting furniture in crates, even moreso in legendary tier. Even the Fisherman costume is in legendary!

One of the better crate seasons and the buy radiant apex is a great addition i was heartbroken after 40 pr so skeleton crates not only did i not pull the plague horse but didnt pull any of the skeleton mounts either.

And the varlaborn skin and the spider kith eyes are absolute fire! Only grip is its a face marking love that its not a facial hair like 90% of cool eye things amd looks great with dark emphasis eye lashes but now i can't use any make ups with it.

Really wish we had an eyes section that covers all eye adornments like kith eyes, blind eyes, etc
And a seperate facial hair tab for eye lashes and stuff
And move the bosmer ,argonian and orc horns, and khajiit extra ear and hair tufts and stuff to a racial tab for the races that can use them have them sperate.

Yes, it is worth it. No lore-breaking mushrooms and pumpkins, just the armor that could actually help in mounted combat for ayleid cavalry. Elegant, practical and stylish. Simple marvelous.

Such mounts used to be reserved for normal crown store (no crates), for much-much lower price than 400 gems (maximum they cost 100 gems if they return in crates). For example:

Auroran Warhorse - he even has the color scheme which I would love to see on Ayleid apex mounts

I like that you've mentioned pumpkins, cause technically Apex and Radinat Apex mounts from Hollowjack season are just simple animals with new saddle/accessory models For me, their only appeal is the large light from rider's accessory (pumpkins, skulls, lantern) - it affects environment and looks amazing at night. Plus, they change their rider's voice to that creepy "Hollow Jack" laughs and shouts



I don't agree about lorebreaking aspect at all... But I'm not easily surprised by shiny creatures, and very tolerant to shiny unusual stuff. I honestly don't know what I would even consider lorebreaking... For example, when this month's daily rewards calendar started, and I saw tiny icon for the head accessory reward, for a moment I seriously thought we're getting some airplane mount

You mention mushroom mounts as "lorebreaking" and I like to ride such mount in Blackreach exactly to match the environment and atmosphere



I think there is no such thing as "lorebreaking" - it's all just a matter of personal tastes. For somebody, shiny mounts are not appealing and not immersive; for other person, shiny mounts are natural

The furnishings shouldn't be locked behind Crown Crates, or shouldn't be 100 gems each. They're not like a skin or cosmetic you only need to unlock once.

I sometimes think about buying Crates from someone with gold, but the crazy low furniture drop rates and high prices remind me it's a bad deal.
