CP160 Crafted Set Costs should get buffed or reduced in costs

With the release of the reproduction mechanic from the Sticker Album for (minimum) 25 per piece I think it is long overdue that there is some change to the crafted sets.

I can now craft False God Body and Medusa Weapon/Jewel and Maw of Infernal from Transmute Gems easily and will get all transmutes back when i decide to shred it eventually. Whats the purpose of having grinded the analysis of gear till 9 traits for each item? Its not like Julianos/Hundings Rage/Twice-Born Star/Acolyte can rival dungeon sets really well.

I think the CP160 variants of those sets should get their costs reduced drastically to perhaps 20 units per piece. 160 ancestor silk is an amount i will probably not spend on sub-par sets anymore these days. The other variant would be to buff the crafted sets but i doubt that will happen.

What do you think, guys? Should the craftables be changed and if yes, how?

    I can farm the mats faster than it would take me to farm 250 to 750 Transmute Things.

    However, Crafted Sets do need some love.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Without the increased cost, the market would just be flooded with materials. I think a lot of crafted sets could be buffed or improved for niche builds, but if crafted sets become too powerful, it would discourage farming dungeons, trials, and arenas together.

    I still use crafted sets for PvP and leveling. They're so cheap to craft, and daily writs give you more materials than you know what to do with.

    I have always viewed crafted sets as an beginner/intermediate option to sets. I think that's how it should be. The reality is that everyone and the mom is a 9 trait crafter. It is not some exclusive club, and hasn't been in years. For better or worse, the game needs a gear grind to encourage play. That is the foundation of any MMO. If I could press a few buttons and make gear on par with trial gear, only score pushers would run a trial more than once or twice.

    I would not be opposed to buffing some crafted sets. I would certainly not be opposed to significantly increasing drops from decon'ing crafted sets. But I will never support crafted sets that rival trial drops or similar.

    I currently have 14 toons that are equipped and ready to run PVE content. All of them are in a trial set (False God or VO), but a decent amount are paired with Hundings/Julianos in training. It's an easy option that is still capable of good results. Could I do better with other options, yes by a marginal amount, but the convenience of crafting should result in a small performance loss.

    I also keep one stam and one magic character in min/maxed gear (siroria, rele, etc), but that is really only useful in trials. FG/VO with Julianos/Hundings is sufficient for ANY 4 man content or even trials if not chasing score.

    Now that training is the new Meta trait for everything outside a score run, I love easy crafted options to fill out a set.
