Cyrodil PVP would be the best gaming thing on planet earth if it played like BG's (in terms of lag)

Just had a keep defense. It was fantastic! exceeeeept all my skills were taking about 2 seconds to trigger, and I would literally have to double tap every button in order for it to actually trigger. My character literally would not try to stealth unless I pressed my Y button (I play on Xbox one X) twice in a row.
It's like playing a game in which you think are getting d/c'd, but it's like, non-stop. Literally, the entire cyrodil experience, has been like this for the last several days.
I can't even imagine just how fun that keep defense would have been if skills actually worked on time like they usually do when I play in battlegrounds. I don't think I would play any other game again for a loooong time.
