Two new DLC Dungeons - Do you like them?

I found them personly quite enjoyable - there's so many adds at times it can be a bit overwhelming, especially in The Cauldron lol but I prefer that over all the one-shot elite adds.

In terms of mechs it's clear they recycle quite a few older mechs, but the pacing is decent I think and didn't get bored.

For me I found them enjoyable. 7.5/10

Can't judge them fully yet as only runned em solo for a quest/skill point and would start vet/HM only tomorrow, but both seems very well done from all angles I was able to experience.

Black Drake Villa has a pretty well done series of hidden bosses

    The
    final secret encounter
in Black Drake was pretty cool to me. I liked the added stakes, and how it was so much more challenging than the other parts of the dungeon.

So far I have only done The Cauldron, but I loved it. My guild and I are gonna go back tonight and actually complete it, since we got stuck on the boss in vet last night. But we have the mechanics down, so we are gonna finish it off today.

I disagree. My healer was very necessary in vet Cauldron.

Did both the dungeons on vet last night and enjoyed them both. Neither felt like they had long periods of just trash which feels tedious on repeat run throughs (looking at you fang lair)
performance was good, the mechanics didn't feel gimmicky, there were no sliding box puzzles or weird skeever phase.
the mechanics were also intuitive. went in blind and didn't get stuck trying to figure out some overly complicated 1 shot mechanic.

    Great experience all-round.

Too easy. You don't even need a healer and we went through blind, a lot of rehashed mechanics as well as some interesting new ones. Blake Drake Villa feels like it has far more packed inside than the Cauldron which felt like a boring slog through an ugly mine, boss fights in the cauldron barring the rescue lyranth were pretty dull and die way too fast.

There's some pretty cool secrets in Blake Drake Villa which is pretty fun to do and the the last boss is pretty interesting too.
That said these new dungeons don't feel that special and like the previous dungeon DLC one dungeon clearly had a higher budget than the other.

The Cauldron - 3/10 (only 1 interesting boss fight, boring trash that do nothing, enemies are laughable.)
Blake Drake Villa - 7/10 (Some cool secrets, hard modes didn't really feel like they make the fights harder just more health to chug through, pretty much the Stone Gardens of this DLC pack)

Pretty much meh sums it up.

I wanted to do them on veteran but kept running into issues with groups. Even got kicked out of one despite being CP 1233 healer with Symphony, Spell Power Cure, Hiti's Hearth, Energy Orb, and plenty of heals. We didn't even get to the first boss fight when it happened and there was a CP 300 person in the group to and they never got kicked. I'm still confused as to why.

    /End Rant

That aside I found the dungeons pretty fun all things considered, but I enjoyed the Villa far more than the Cauldron. Even ran into side bosses with buffs which were neat! I'd love to rerun it and find all the things I missed when I have time.

I went into Blake Drake Villa solo and spent about 30 minutes wandering around the vineyard. Amazing.

I even made it to the first boss solo - but no way further. So, my opinion? The vineyard is awesome. The first boss is minotaur.

I will never learn more about this place. Alas. Thank you ever so much, @ZOS.

What you need is a companion... if only they would add such a thing.

I like them. They have interesting mechanics, there's some nice riddles, especially the villa looks amazing and there is some useful loot. The only thing I'd critizise is the difficulty. I'd prefer it if dungeons would be so hard that I can't beat the hardmode on the first day, still playing with my pre patch gear setup.

Completed vet Cauldron, didnt step in BDV yet. Cauldron was ok but nothing special. Last boss looked like Molag Kena fight with more adds.

I don't think I'll ever do a DLC dungeon, even with a companion. Base game dungeons? Yes. I already can do some (CP 840 - I was a decent solo player last week), I'm sure I will do much more with a companion. I'm specifically looking for solo builds, and I'm digging into it, but.... But DLC duneons? No, I don't think so...

I think ZOS did a fine job with both these dungeons. I especially loved the final boss in Black Drake Villa.

Not very hard though. We just did the Cauldron on hardmode with a CP140 tank and one CP 200 dps. But still, quite enjoyable.

Sorry, will be busy rebuilding characters for the next week or two.

(Actually, I don't do DLC dungeons anyway - only basic alliance ones that I can solo.)
