Cyro PvP this patch is actually on a good path
After the last 3 weeks of tests on Pc EU excitement wasn't too high about the new patch and 6 more months with sets that have been powercreeped by the rest of the game along with horrific performance.
But from what I and many others have seen yesterday the chances of PvP becoming really good again aren't as bad as they've been for ages.
On Pc EU the tank parade where the answer to "300 weapon damage or 1000 health" has always been: "why just 1k health tho? I haven't even gotten to 38k yet" things have changed, people trying to stalemate fights get clapped, people doing any mistakes get instantly punished for that.
Combat is fast paced, reactive and feels really good on top of performance being way better than it has been for ages even though the only thing that has changed were CP but no cp performance is also significantly better.
This is actually what I expect from a good pvp mode, if the devs now start working more on class balance and give classes a kind of gravity again in terms of them feeling unique and powerful in their own way, the game would make a huge jump in terms of enjoyment.
At the moment you still feel the differences between classes and their viability (this has been the case before) and you notice shortcomings and how clunky some toolkits are or how annoying casttimes on ultimates are as they slow down the pace of the combat which really shouldn't be a thing.
But overall this patch is a huge breath of fresh air that was desperately being hoped for.
