Hide shoulders option

Hide every part would be really nice. But lets start with shoulders at least. Some of them are bulky, some considered too impractical. There are many chest armor that look fine without shoulders. And some outfiters want to try this option. Option to remove your current shoulder equip to do so is not an option actually.

This has been requested constantly since the outfit system was introduced, ZoS has remained completely silent on the issue. I get not letting people hide legs/chest, but everything else should be fair game.

Yeah, I really wish we could hide these.

Years ago, during a dev livestream, they showed an internal build that allowed for hidden shoulders, so it's an intentional choice.

Being able to hide gloves, feet, and belts would also be really nice. Especially on hands and feet, as some chests and legs have unique sleeve/pant designs when no hands/feet (or specific versions of them) are equipped.

I'd love a hide option on shoulders. Most look terrible. They're either too bulky or they float or just plain don't fit seamless into the rest of the outfit. I'd like to see an option to hide shoes as well. Nothing wrong with what they've given us but an option to go barefoot would be nice lol

You can hide them in guild wars 2 because A-Net care about you and think about ways to make you happy every night before they go to sleep.

I just can't fully udnerstand... Does "hide shoulders option" would be somehow different from "hide helmet option"? Is it more harder to to introduce into the game? I think not harder than outfit system that was introduces long ago. People are really waiting for such option.

Not at all. In fact when they first showed off the outfit system on the dev server it had the ability to hide all slots. For some reason they removed the option before it hit PTS. Since then they've stubbornly ignored any and all mention of it.

Dear ZoS,

Please make an event item that's a unique shoulder Style Page. The model for that style can be extremely minimum such as it being one shoulder and more akin to a patch or band.

Sit back and watch the engagement for such an event skyrocket.

Make multiple variations of the same style page, offer them as different event rewards not obtainable through the event merchant. They can be signs of active participation and thus unique. Bam, increased participation for any even featuring them.

Make some crown store only. Bam, crown store sales go up.

Make some vet trial/dlc dungeon rewards. Bam, more endgame engagement.
