Ok to start off i feel like the way this was announced was bad , i comment on a thread isnt the way such a big change should be announced.
2, miss understaning excitement for a 3 week test shouldnt be confused with how poeple would feel if it was exctended too 3 too 6 mouths,
3, every one agrees that something needs to be done with proc meta but this isnt the right way , might be the easy way out but by far the right way , sets need to be balanced
4, im not happy about spending money and time farming gear sets i cant use .
5, builds are now more boring then ever
6, lag has been worse by far in aus prime time (this is not due to higher pop, as pop has been lower)
7, i think alot of player are going to leave once douple ap ends , witch mean aussie prime is going to be sooo dead
8, Class imbalance is massive

What should be done ,

zos needs to balance the meta out , its that simple.

Malacath no longer effects procs, make procs scale dynamically with highest offensive stat.

    Boom fixed the meta.
    PvP needs more love.

Fix the class imbalance! Better yet balance all the classes around the 2 pay-to-win classes. Fix stamina vs magicka. Magicka needs a boost somehow. Fix the inbalance of stamina weapons vs magicka weapons, or better yet, make all weapons skills scale with the highest stats!!! Never going to happen. ZOS only plays stamina characters and magsorcq...

As long as you can wear multiple proc sets and they can fire off at the same time you haven’t fixed the problem.

Either restrict proc sets to only one being active at the same time or reduce their overall power.

Makes perfect sense. Malacath's purpose is to trade crit damage for increased flat damage. Since procs can't crit in the first place, it stands to reason that they should not gain any of the trade off power.
make procs scale dynamically with highest offensive stat.

This has been being suggested for years. Since well before Malacath was a thing. It is such a simple fix it'd be amazing ZOS never tried it, except ZOS has never favored simple, straightforward solutions over convoluted messes.

If procs start hitting like wet noodles if you are otherwise geared for survivability/sustain, rather than gearing specifically to make the procs hit hard, I'd say much of the problem would be solved.

You can hit hard without proc-sets. It's up to you to determine which abilities in your arsenal hit the hardest, and then spend your Champion Points accordingly. You can build your stats around those abilities, and you'll be hitting hard enough to take at least someone out.

I keep reading all these complaints here. It's like the world just ended or something. In the meantime, people are having fun in Cyrodiil, including myself. It's not just you that got nerfed. Everyone got nerfed. So really, nobody's worse off than they were before. Tanks just got a bit tougher. So maybe you should rethink your build or hit them with more people. Adapt?

Things changed. And they will change again. So what? I welcome these challenges. What's the alternative? Keeping the bad performance? Do you really want to wear the same stuff for a whole year and keep using the same old tactics because you think everyone else is doing that? Doesn't that seem a bit boring to you? I think this is exciting, because we're all forced to rethink our builds. It's something different. Something new!

And of course we can all experiment with the new constellations tomorrow. Try a different race. Try a different class. I'll be having a lot of fun with this. I think you guys, the people who are complaining, don't realise that you don't represent all of the community. Probably not even a small percentage. Because right now, the people who aren't complaining are having fun online.

If you really can't or don't want to engage in PvP without your proc-sets and your mythic items, then maybe you should visit Battlegrounds and leave it alone for a while? You do have a choice.

    Come on!

I'm going to say I disagree here. Only partly though.

What ZOS really needs to do is keep the procs out UNTIL they figure out how to properly balance the classes so it's fair game for everybody procs or not. And this is their perfect opportunity.

I hate procs with all my heart and would completely delete them from the game. But for the sake of theorycrafting (which is half the fun) I would do exactly what I said in the paragraph above.
