Skins are part of the lore?
Sorry, I find that annoyingly nit-picky.
I suppose you mean, "The Dro'Mathra actually look like the skin!"
Yeah that's fine, but I didn't become a Dro'Mathra by defeating Rakkhat in vet. Maw of Larkhaj. If anything I CONQUERED the Dro'Mathra, and thus gained control over their attributes. Therefore it is actually lore-shallow to NOT let me control and tune the appearance of the skin.
Also... nothing in Halls of Fabrication has gold-foil skin with glowing eyes. Nothing in Asylum has silver plated skin with aztec designs, etc.

You already control it, by having it.. but the dro'mathra look as they do.. if you want a skin you can time for yourself, it should imo not be that, but some random generic skin from the crown store.. And I would be whole heartedly against that too.. because if we get dyeable skins, it won't take 10 secs before we have bubblegum pink idiots running all over the map

I was with you until that last part. We already have people fully clad in very eye-catching colours. Sorry that fun and entertainment are subjective.

I don't mind people having fun at all.. but everything has a limit.. we are playing a fairly calm medieval game.. people with pink skin in pink towels, just do not fit in.. they have no place in it
This,I just want tattoos that don't erase Argonian/Khajiit body markings. Default Argonian skin looks like naked old people.

This is a high fantasy setting, not a medieval setting. There was no magic, nor elves, nor beast races in the medieval period. The medieval period was real, and people really lived in it.
