Once again I ask on behalf of Magicka PvP

Why do we still not have a loaded spell such as Rally? Major brutality, minor endurance, and a burst heal in ONE SINGLE SPELL . Come on guys, how can you not see how lacking magicka is to play in PvP.If you intended for us to be utility only, supporting everyone else from the rear, just say so. Its just not right to leave us such a state.

In all reality they need to standardize weapon skills already. Difference for difference sake is killing balance.

2h is leagues ahead of other weapon lines and most class lines.

Either they need to nerf rally, executioner, and dizzy

Or preferred, they need to bring the other weapon skills in line with 2h and buff class abilities to be better than weapon lines.

Class abilities should out perform weapon lines and weapon lines should fill the gaps.

But if we are going with Zeni track record. There will most likely be nerfs incoming

They removed stam recovery and major brutality from nb skills so im forced to use rally and 2h even tho i dont want to use 2h. They made me do it.

I play both in pvp (cp cyrodiil and Bags). Stam has many advantages, and I agree that mag (aside from sorc imo) is well behind stam.

Honestly though, Rally isn't great. The burst heal is so inconsistent. On my stamplar, where I'm getting vigor ticks of 2.5k non crits, and rally heals after like 15+ seconds of 4k non crit. That's a long time for a crappy heal.

I don't even use it on my warden anymore. Vigor and actic blast for heals, betcha for brutality. Dropped it on my sorc too. Vigor, dark deal and surge for my heal (and surge for brutality).

I'm not sure if Rally is still bugged, but honestly, the heal is kinda crap.

They didn't remove brutality from NBs. It still has it, it's just a crap way to get it.

Im not for nerfing rally, id rather buff other things to bring balance to rally that way. However I am all for nerfing dizzy swing.

dizzy dawn exec is oppest op skills in pvp . it must be downside for them

for dizzy more stamina cost or if you cant land because of dodge you get off-balance .

dawnbreaker is very cheap . it must be 200 ultimate cost at least

and exec more stamina cost and target must be %30 at least . not damn %50 and %300

Just one question.

What spammable do you think would StamDK, StamCro, StamDen and StamSorc run if you would nerf dizzying?
Dizzying is not my favourite either, but they just nerfed all other potential stam spammables for those classes to such an extend that dizzy is nearly the only viable option they have left.

I think just trying to buff mag up to the point where Stam is right now would be a better choice than just nerfing 2h.
And while theyre at it, a buff to Flurry, Hidden Blade, Puncture, Low Slash and Power Slam cant hurt either, so stam would actually have more than 1 viable spammable.

Truth for minor endurance but false for major brutality. Major brutality always was and still is present in power extraction.

I have never called for nerfs and never will. It is not the way to balance anything. Good devs are supposed to (or should) find out what is working, and bring lower performing sets/skills up to par with it. You cannot play this game and not see how one sided game play has been between magicka and stamina. The fact that it has lasted so long is insulting asf to be honest, and a slap in the face. To me, they are basically saying, if you carry a stick, shut up and toss out buffs or debuffs and be happy!

omg im a stam player. i have no other option except dizzy. my class spam hits 5k like others but my weak cc maker useless dizzy hits 6k . i have no other option. they should buff magicka spammables from 4 k to 5k so we can equal .

and i must use exec too. other finishers needs %20-25hp . this useless one needs %50 and hits only %400. nbs and sorcs has finishers too. they are stronger then our pitiful exec.

2h is amazing to burst pvers in cyro tho. Sadly once in a while you meet good players, so it's better to use dual wield atm.
I wish everyone in pvp was like most of the people in this thread so I could go back spamming dizzying

Exactly... + I absolutely hate 2h on NB for cosmetic reasons as well. I wish DW cloak would just be DW's rally.

Where would you get those from? What would you use instead? Hidden blade? Pots? Extraction?

No good alternative at hand? Welp, better buff up other skills instead of nerfing 2h.

Heyy i forgot the power extration, i actually use it sometimes too. But you could get all these buffs from relentless focus before, could you not? The healing too in away, from the proc shot. If it actually sometimes fires and is not dodged 99% of times.

I also think buffing other skills is the way to go. Im just saying the game pretty much forces you to use 2h atm.

You'll certainly have to try wearing heavy on mag to have any chance of survival in pvp, as if it weren't bad enough right now. So much for build diversity.

This isn't true at all. In pvp Stam/Mag heavy dominates


But pve endgame is reigned by magicka builds plain and simple. And will continue to do so even in the new cp system.

Saying otherwise is just ludicrous.

Nerf rally. And increase the cast time of dizzying swing from 5 seconds to 7 in prime time PvP.

Yeah I’m not sure how rally makes stam builds dominate. Not every stam build uses 2h. I had a PvP toon with it in the past but gave up on that toon, didn’t think it was all that great.

Stam builds have no ranged attacks unless using bow and magicka builds are all ranged. Definite advantage if you can hit your opponent from far away and he has to be within 5 m or whatever to hit you. Seems like most players are magicka in Cyrodiil.

I have a stam build now but no 2h (or bow) in PvP.

Really hard to stay out of the red a lot of the time.

Honestly given the fact that they're planning to make light armour take more damage from physical attacks which include stamina ones I think magika pvp is going to be at a bigger disadvantage than it already was.

Its been Elder Stamina Online for years since One Stamriel. Magicka is greatly outclassed by stam in PvP and PvE and like others have said the light armor changes will further reinforce Elder Stamina Online next patch, medium armor imo should have -mag resist if light armor is gonna get gimped so hard next patch. It is already the squishiest armor type and basically feels like you are wearing paper in PvP. These recent no proc tests in Cyro have made magicka feel slightly more viable again tho which is a plus!

Thing is tho its a lot harder for mag to sustain in heavy compared to stam tbh. As stam's abilities are cheaper, hit harder, stam can do more dodge rolls/blocks/break frees etc but I'm not gonna get into the stam bias from ZOS could be here a long time lol.
