[SUGGESTION] Houses and leaving activies

If we start an activity in our house, leaving that activity should bring us back to our house.
It's very simple, but do you agree with that? I always thought it should be like that, and I think now is even more important.
With the introduction of the "Aetherial Well" we'll mostly like stay in our or somebody's house while reseting instances like trials, or waiting for new battlegrounds, to enter with full ultimate.
So, thinking about it, make more sense to get back to house when leaving activities.
Do you think this is a good change?

I believe the purpose of you not returning to your home isn't a matter of convenience but rather functionality. Your home, which can be structured in any way, can be done so that a player's system crashes or freezes upon trying to enter. At that point it becomes a ZoS technical matter to move you from said home in order to remedy the situation.

By having players spawn in the last in-game zone the character is in it returns them to a location that is proven to be safe. Having respawns in home saves ZoS' technical team from having to constantly deal with this small issue.

Trackdemon's theory could be, but I think it may just be a technical oversight that we don't zone back into our houses.

That'd be neat, no more fighting mobs in between resets

Why does traveling to your house from an wayshrine still give you the non wayscrine penalty like port to player.
Yes its free as port to player but the next port will be expensive.

Now some way to fill up ultimate would be more useful resources fill up fast enough out of combat
Letting you ride on large estates would also be an idea.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Understandable, but I honestly never crashed or know about somebody's crash in houses. Even because if you're in your house and you log out, you spawn at your house and that would make a loop crash. We'd definitely know about it on forums.

It's done as it is possible to give permissions to have someone move items around in your house.

Although the odds of it happening are low, if it was to place you back in your house, it is possible someone could have moved something to the spot where you would load back in and this could cause problems.

FFXIV does something similar, although the instancing works differently, it's the same principle.

Well, no need to load back to the exactly same spot we left.
We could arrive at entrance. Problem solved ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wait, do you not return to your house after using the dungeon finder if you started in your house?
Note that if you traveled to an dungeon or trial its different as then you exit you will exit the door to the instance.

You can log off in your house after all and still be in it then you log in.

The reason why we get kicked from houses is that the houses are, technically, the same kind of instance as delves and public dungeons, and they work exactly the same.
Of course it should be changed, because as it is now, houses don't work as and don't feel as a home, your personal (or guild's) base. Houses in their current state is just another instance where you're just a guest, who comes in for a couple of minutes, does something and then is kicked out to public open world instance.
By the way, in my signature you can find a link to the addon that will automatically teleport you from a dungeon back to the last visited house once you leave the group. I made it because it also bothers me a lot.
One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.
