Please swap the proposed mace and axe effects (respecting lore)

The new proposed effects for maces and axes are interesting, but for the love of everything that is holy please make maces the healing weapon and axes the penetration weapon. It genuinely makes no sense as it is now. Let's respect decades of dnd lore... even if it's based on misconception, maces have always been the cleric/healing weapons. And axes obviously penetrate armor... please consider lore and respect it. Also making healers equip axes is not only funny but is becoming a meme... Don't let it go in this direction, it's just a tiny swap of effects between weapons.

Reason maces penetrate armor in ESO is under the assumption that they bypass it by being blunt force trauma. To kill an armored knight you don't use a cutting weapon, you bludgeon them to death.

Dude, DnD lore and TES lore are not the same.
Let's be extremely precise in our use of terms.

Axes do not penetrate plate armor IRL, but maces are able to damage fully armored opponents with ease. Penetration makes much more sense on maces- their entire purpose as a weapon is to bypass the effects of armor.

I mean, resto staves are still going to be the primary healing weapons. This is also a video game, and shouldn't be taken seriously.

    (1) axes = makes an gash ( bleed)
maces = blunt force ( penetration)
    or
    (2) axes = deep cut ( penetration)
maces= blunt force ( internal bleeding)

idk looks like you can go with whatever floats your boat but 1 seems to fit better to 80% of the world myself included

Axes aren't a healing weapon, they increase crit damage and crit healing. This makes less sense than previously where they'd cause a bleed, but with the changes to status effects they could cause 2 dots 😂. Mace makes perfect sense to increase penetration. If its aesthetic you find disagreeable I would recommend an outfit station👍

Keep dnd lore out of eso

Yeah I’m against changing this. It’s not DnD.

It also logically makes sense. I like the changes.

This game is not DnD and doesn't need to respect it's lore.

None of the melee weapons make sense as a healing weapon, it's only there because ZOS wants to be inclusive when it comes to crit damage and crit healing going forward, instead of seperating them.
