My favorite sound from ESO is when a sorc flappy does her little tuneless humming thing. It's adorable.
Close seconds: The cricket pet makes a really cute noise. I am in the minority that actually loves the Indrik's "woot woot woot" noise. The combination of distant thunder and chirping crickets on a stormy night anywhere that has those things. The soothing clicks and whirs of Clockwork City.
1. +1 for environmental sounds. People mentioned storms, wind, and the white noise in Clockwork City. I love the ambient sounds at night, too--hooting owls, croaking frogs, distant little "awoos." I love the creaking sounds wooden structures make. I love the sound of the elk scratching trees in Westie Skizzle. It's all so lovely.
2. Horse hooves on all the different terrain. My favorite is the soft but heavy sound they make on snow. I love the sound of the tack shifting and clinking, and all the little horsie noises, too.
3. Wind chime furnishings! I find the bone chimes from antiquities especially soothing to listen to.
4. Someone mentioned the "woot woot woot" sound that Indriks make. I find that furiously endearing, too. See also: "brrp brrp brrp," "yeet yeet yeet."
5. Someone else mentioned the wolf pup bark. Oh my god, my favorite is when they bark twice and do the little "play with me!" spin. Aaaaa! I also love the little gurgle sounds the Akaviri and Gloomspore wolf pups make. It's so strange and funny. 🤣
6. The sound that New Moon mounts make. There's this soft ambient sound, like the shadows are exhaling. I adore it to bits.
7. Also love the soft "poof!" sound Sovngarde radiants make.
