One-of-a-kind?

How one-of-a-kind is really the Infernium Dwarven Spiderling pet, as this is the second time its available to everyone?
Isn't this the literally the exact opposite from a one-of-a-kind item? At this point, it's as one-of-a-kind as the Alik’r Dune-Hound or Abecean Ratter Cat you get at level 24.
You've had about 7-8 months to come up with another one-of-a-kind reward, and you re-use the exactly same item? Couldn't you at least come up with another one-of-a-kind pet to be given alongside this pet for opting in? I find it hard to believe that this spesific pet have had that many inquiries for people that didn't get it last time, that you had to re-use the item..

Nah, this deceptive way of getting people to opt in for your e-mails made me opt out instead..




But please, tell me if I'm wrong about this. Do you think this reward is a one-of-a-kind pet?
And feel free to elaborate if you will.

Why even bother? Why would I suddenly like something less if other people get the chance to have it too? Either I like that thing or not, other people have no influence.

For collectors that missed out on the opportunity to grab it last time I am sure they are glad that it has resurfaced, though I see your point, it's a valid one. Was it brought back with marketing in mind (opt people for mail subscriptions?), most likely. And yes it kinda diminishes the feeling of the pet being unique. Honestly though I don't think it will ruin anyone's day.

As someone who wouldn't mind less of the exclusivity thing in this game this is more than fine by me. Just wish they'd do it more often.

Too bad the reward was a useless pet. I wish they’d have more skins/costumes as rewards for things. Pets are boring and pointless.

I mean the fact that millions of people got the "one-of-a-kind" pet the first time should have tipped you off that it's not actually "one-of-a-kind"

No where in any of that does it even remotely say or suggest the offer is a one time only offer never to be repeated or made available via other means in future, it does not say that at all.

Yeah, it's an odd description but "You can get your hands on a one-of-a-kind pet simply by " is NOT the same as saying "You can get a one time release pet that'll never be released again by"

It's flavour text about the pet itself, technically it is one of a kind, heck, WE are technically one-of-a-kind, We're all the Vestige, and yet not at the same time, to ourselves we're the vestige, to other people we can't be because they are.

In this instance ZoS said nothing wrong, One-of-a-kind does not mean what you think it does.

I don't care about exclusivity. It's an okay pet, though I only use it on one character out of 60 (or maybe it's two now, not in game to check).
