Overland content is far too easy with the new buffs to 1-50 levels. Not sure if it was intended.

I do less damage on overland on my alt so maybe your gear just sucks on live?

Overland content has long been too easy for people with strong CP and so on, a few fights perhaps excepted. (Certain world bosses are challenging for sure; it's possible but not required to have trouble in some public dungeons as well.)

Overland was never meant to be a serious challenge.

Though with how things have changed with the CP 2.0 system things are not looking good. I am experiencing massive dps losses on the PTS, as well are others. If this goes through as is, we will lose a lot of new members from our progression group.

The gap between us that have started with the game and those that have not will be rather large. It feels like a great step backwards to what discouraged a lot of players from even joining trial groups in the first place.

I think overland is the least of our worries rn.

To answer the Tutorial question, that won't appear until the Chapter update in June.

yeah but since stats are no longer tied to cp non cp players are also too powerful for overland content.

Overland content has always been a joke as long as you're running a half decent build. This is nothing new.

Overland content was easy ever since they launched Tamrial One. So easy you that all you need is level 14 armor and an updated weapon while leveling.

Both of my builds have less dps than they had on live. I wouldn't complain just yet about solo content being too easy, since we also can't assume new players will be geared well or know what skills to use or even know they should use one offensive stat as a dps. This game, as well as any other, will always need new and casual players. So, if the leveling content becomes too hard, they will leave.

Players don't come to mmo's to be frustrated and nerfed to the ground. They come to let out frustration, socialize with friends, and enjoy feeling powerful.

All you need is one damage skill. Maybe two IF you want to use AoE.

    Templars: Jabs or Uppercut
    Nightblade: Surprise Attack or Uppercut
Sorcerers: Frags or LA with staves or Hurricane + Uppercut
Warden: Cliff, Swarm or Uppercut or LA staves
Necro: Skull spamming or Uppercut or LA staves

Thats it, in a nutshell, while leveling your slot one skill per class tree and the other 2 plus ultimate are for weapon skill trees with a LA, MA and HA item equipped to train all your armor lines. Its not rocket science and overland content is that easy.
