No Physical Collector's Edition this year? I'm bummed... :'(

    I also mourn the absence of a physical collector's edition, and as a separate piece of merchandise the statue is of no interest to me at £120, priced to include other stuff I don't want anyway.

    It's funny how some players doubtless obsess about completing their ingame collection of multi-skinned indriks but don't understand other players wanting to have physical collections of different figurines.

    As for cash, there's a massive crisis looming if cash disappears and we saw the warning of it in the UK the other day when two national supermarkets suffered a major IT outage which meant customers could only pay in cash. If that option totally disappears then we're in deep trouble every time the card payment system suffers a hiccup.

    Just to chime in here as this is about Collectors Editon and I seem to have missed something.

    What is the reason for Blackwood DLC CE upgrade to cost 55€? If I remember correctly the Greymoore DLC CE costs 40€ or so. Did they add anything extra on top of it or is this an expansion instead of an DLC? I'm just a little puzzled about this as I have planned to return next update.

    Blackwood is a chapter, not a DLC. Greymoor was also a chapter but I've no idea how the items that come with one compare to the other. You can always just buy the straight upgrade edition, as I shall. Collectors Editions are only worthwhile in my view if they're physical boxes.

    Ah okay,. I just flew over it. Thought it's the next DLC. Seems I have switched it up with flames of ambition. Thanks for clarifying.

    While I agree, the computer industry doesn't seem to share that view. It's getting to the point where CD- and DVD-ROM drives are being left off of laptops, and desktops are probably next.

    Serious question. What are these valid reasons in the case of ESO, specifically?

    I mean, it's an MMO. It's going to get a ton of updates anyway. Just last year we had a complete reinstall of the game that I seem to recall not being possible to install from the original discs?

    My point is, I'm not sure what practical use it really holds. Can you explain this to me? I'd understand if this were an offline game that is not subject to required patches, but it's not.
