Yes, "Queen's Elegance" never was good, but the changed version is really bad.

What was the old bonus? Was it damage done to heavy attacks or something? I dont remember.

Pretty sure it increased light attack damage by 20%.

Heavy attack damage too, I think. If anybody hasn't been able to figure out how the Heavy Attack part of this set works now, after testing and discussing with others here it appears to be: if you can land any DD attack after the HA is cast but before the HA (or last pulse of Resto / Lightning) hits its target, it will buff that DD attack, if not it buffs the HA itself (or last pulse).

The old Hagraven's Garden seemed like it might have had a purpose in Crazy King, I never got around to trying it, but the new version reads like a weaker Bolstering Darkness in a 5 piece, but again I've never tried it.

I still think Queens elegance is a decent set if you want sustain.
Similar to the 5p of warlock/lich/archmage if you can weave constantly.

Sadly it got passivly shafted when they buffed major regen buffs and using it together with mythics is nearly impossible since it has to be 2 barred.

I'm not experienced with MagDen, but I thought this set might be an interesting way to complement the use of Frost Staff / Frost Enchant LAs to proc Chilled for the Glacial Presence passive and HAs for Minor Brittle, and then consuming the Elegance buff with Deep Fissure. It's a neat idea but probably not as good as Malacath + normal damage procs.
