I'm Finally Done!

I've been a paying member of ESO since its launch date back in 2012 or 2013 (I can't exactly remember). I've signed into the game at least once a day ever since. There have been times I played for hours and other times for just a few minutes but I've always popped in just to stay up to date. There are many wonderful things about this game and I've thoroughly enjoyed playing over the years. I love the graphics and the story line very much.

However, I've also been very frustrated with the long load times; the serious glitches that never seem to go away for long; and, especially, getting kicked out of the game at random times. This morning, I logged in to do my banking and to pay my guild dues (5 trade guilds). The first three attempts to log in timed out. I finally got in on the 4th attempt. When I tried to fast travel to one of my homes, I was kicked out of the game. I logged back in (after some struggles). I tried to fast travel again and was kicked out of the game. After the 5th time being kicked out of the game I made a final decision. I kicked the game out of my living room. I cancelled my $15-$16 dollar per month subscription (waste of money if I can't even play the game) and I uninstalled the game from my XBox Series X and Xbox One X consoles. I

I was going to give my 16 million gold to a couple of my guilds before cancelling the subscription but wasn't able to log in. So all my homes, treasures, gold, armor, etc. will fade away into obscurity. The very least ZOS should do is take care of their paying customers. Over the years, I'd have to say that I've given them at least a thousand dollars in micro-purchases, game add-ons, and monthly dues. Well that all ends today.

Enjoy getting ripped off folks. I opened my eyes today and am a free man!

I stopped subbing and have mention many times, when they fix the game, i will sub again.

I know a good many that stopped subbing or quit the last dlc.
The constant bugs and problems piled on top of bugs and problems is honestly getting to be way too much.
Trials guilds are dying left and right, guilds that would do 6-7 vet trials daily are now having problems filling random plunder runs as well as progression runs and are lucky to get 2 off a day now.
People don't roster they have had enough.

They are yet another formerly-paying customer who finally reached the end of their tether due to ZOS’s ongoing failure to fix the game. Has nothing to do with “luck” or anything like that, and everything to do with the poor state of the game performance (especially on console).

To OP: we share the same feelings, good luck to you and best wishes. I'm already playing a different and much better game. ZOS just doesn't care about its community anymore and god forbid you raise a valid public complaint. You'll get a forums strike for breaking ToS even if you've never broken a single ToS rule. If that isn't toxic approach to customer base, idk what is.

Many don't experience many of these problems. That's not to minimize these problems exist or discount the need to address these issues but if you're going to go, just go. No drama needed.

This isn't a legitimate thread.
Quitting threads are against the forum rules, therefore have no basis to be protected from mod attention.
If anything, calling them out gets them cleaned out of the thread listing faster, which is a positive.

Fact everyday people losing their mind over issues in the game shows we might be declining maybe... Only reason most suck up these issue because of the game title. If this was a different game this would spiral into people leaving in droves.

How does ignoring or silencing the issues the game suffers from that are causing a good deal if people to quit or preventing people who are so frustrated that they quit from speaking a positive for the prolonged health of the game?
I honestly wish everyone who quit for these reasons post, express their distaste with the current state of affairs.
Show ZoS this model of fleecing the whales can't sustain the game.
If they are done with sustaining and just want to pull as much out of the remaining player base before the inevitable switch, well then they really don't deserve anything or adherence do they?
