Is it "some players" who have issues? Or is it the whole population of the server except for those that were logged in at some point prior to the problem?

Who believes that it is just "some" players?

It's any problem that players are experiencing, such as having trouble logging in, or getting disconnected while in the middle of doing something, or really bad lag or stuttering, or crashing to the desktop, etc.

I don't know the answer, because in nany cases I'm not playing the game when these issues are being reported; for example, I wasn't playing or trying to log in on Friday while people were posting about not being able to log in, which led to a red banner being put up on the forum saying that ZOS was investigating a problem where "some players" were having trouble logging in.

Much of the time that players are complaining about certain issues, I'm not experiencing those sane issues, possibly because I'm not in the same zone (such as Cyrodiil) or doing the same activities (such as running vet dungeons or trials) as they are.

Other times I do experience some issues, although not necessarily to the same extent that other players are reporting. For instance, Friday night I was doing crafting writs on my characters and started experiencing intermittent bad lag while one of my characters was crafting, to the extent that it took several seconds for some of the items to register as having been crafted, resulting in a few extra items being crafted by mistake due to pressing "R" too quickly and crafting a specific weapon or piece of armor twice even though the recent QOL filters should have prevented the extra copy from being crafted. Yet I wasn't having that problem on my other characters, or maybe a little lag but not enough to be problematic. At times like that I wonder if the problem is specific to certain instances, possibly due to differences in the population density at that location in that instance, or if it might even be some momentary issue with my computer or network or internet.

Then there was the time when I was doing writs in Vulkhel Guard and everybody started noticing really bad lag, stuttering, and rubber-banding, so everyone was commenting about it in zone chat as well as in the forum, then suddenly we all got kicked out of the game. We got back in pretty quickly, but everybody who was in the forum at that time was saying, or asking if, the servers had crashed.

In one case that I remember clearly-- because I was watching a Twitch streamer who was afftected by it, and her reaction was so memorable (and, as it happened, misplaced)-- there was a problem where a lot of players were having trouble logging in, or getting suddenly disconnected (myself and the streamer included), and it turned out to be a problem that a specific company or service (not ZOS) was having with their routers, which caused widespread issues with many different websites and gaming platforms, not just ESO.

And it certainly doesn't help that these days the entire internet seems to be under constant and ever-increasing attacks from government-sanctioned computer espionage centers and any number of independent hackers and mischief-makers.

I don't really understand the poll.

Everyone that plays the content that is effected by these issues is effected by it.

I mainly play PvP, but never suffered any of the crashes others had during markarth. That may be something unique to individual setup I have no idea. I did notice a huge spike in my gpu usage upon it release and switched off the new option and lowered shadows from ultra to high. It now runs at 50% max now.

I have had the same terrible performance as everyone else since u25 though... Skill/positional delay etc...

Some: an unspecified amount or number of.

So "some" players could be a couple people or 99% of the player base. Or anywhere in between.
