This Performance is ridiculous; spent the last 10 hours tweaking settings just to try and fix the latency and stuttering, NOTHING WORKS. This has been going on since Markarth, 90% sure ZOS outsourced the Customer Service to a Call Center so all we get are cookie cutter responses.

I don't mind farming gear, learning rotations, or doing what some might consider "Work"; but if the game itself doesn't work because of garbage server side issues; what's the point?

I can't even do Normal Maelstrom with this latency and stuttering; let alone Vet. Forget trying to do Vet DLC Dungeons and Challenger Accomplishments.

But all ZOS does is work on Crown Store or try to expand to new platforms (that they clearly can't handle) like Stadia.

I have tweaked every single setting, maximized my cores, maximized my priority settings and am literally playing on the lowest graphics settings you can use (which was NEVER a problem even playing on Ultra till Markarth Dropped). So it's clearly not a PC issue and I'm not the only one; there's plenty of threads (which keep getting locked of course) of people having the same issue which again get the same cookie cutter responses sending them to customer service to send us cookie cutter responses about "Opening the Ports".

If you aren't having issues, hey good for you. It's a really nice game, have fun while you can. I was good until this last patch.

No you can't have my stuff, I'll come back when it's fixed (if it's ever fixed). Me and my 40K Crowns will be waiting.

But for now this is just a giant waste of time/misery and gaming is supposed to be fun.

Far be it for a pleb like me to give advice to a Powerhouse Corporation like ZOS; but my advice? Don't neglect your Player Base because word of mouth spreads; Bioware has a garbage reputation now and CD Projekt Red is getting ripped because of the problems with Cyberpunk.

Hope you guys figure it out; inb4 Mods lock this.

For what it's worth, Matt Firor's statement from yesterday:
"I want to highlight that in 2021 we will devote more time overall to stability and game performance and less time to new game systems (with our standard content updates continuing unchanged). We will still be working from home for the foreseeable future, and I want to ensure that our 2021 updates and patches are smooth and the player experience is enjoyable. "

Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

That's what they said about 2019 and 2020. Guess what? Game performs worse than before the "performance improvement plans".

Love this old chestnut. It's a been a consistent strategy. All we hear is crickets for months and months.....then very occasionally we get thrown something like this........then it's crickets for more months.

And the game just slides performance wise. This has been going on for years. at this stage any long term player must know that this is just the way it is.

Any link to where you posted the precise issues, and what are your computer specs?

I know how easy it is to get angry and frustrated when you are having issues. I've had them before. We all probably have at some point, just take a while to cool down and think about what might be wrong.

Could something be interfering with your connection? Could your router be broken? If you have an AMD processor, AMD is known to sometimes have stuttering issues in games with certain driver version(s).

Hopefully you can get your issue fixed.

This whole thread is pointless without at least posting your specs.
For all we know, you could be trying to run it on a laptop with an integrated video card.

I don't understand. I literally have had 0 performance problems since Markarth. The game runs just fine in all the content I enjoy doing. I haven't had any DCs, no stuttering, no framerate problems, literally nothing.

It has to be something on your end, because the game works fine for me and for the guild members I do trials/dungeons with.

I'm running the game on a potato and it works well, I think 95% of issues are server/network issues which are probably more related to one's locale and isp.

    (By potato I mean a Phenom2 w/ an HD7850.)
