I'm not a lore expert but isn't this around the time the war ended? Or am I just salty about performance and expect them to end the war because they can't fix it? Lol

Sounds cool in theory but in practice every mmo has tried it and all have failed to make it fun. Short of cheating and just having players walk on the ground normally in a underwater-styled world, I think the idea is doomed to fail. People don't like the addition of a 3rd dimension when moving around
Our year is coming very soon. Either 2022 or 2023.NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »LoneStar2911 wrote: »
People who like argonians are a minority. Trust me, we know. Which is a pity because they are such an interesting race.

Quite possibly 2021, stay tuned

Personally I hope not. For me, that would be another year I just don't mess with new content. And since I have ESO+ on two accounts.... I'm not really interested in a year where argonian crap is what I get.
Oh well. I can always just make gold off antiquities. But at some point - I'm going to be cancelling my subs and just not playing if it's stuff that's not appealing to me. Like Murkmire and "the Skyrim nostalgia garbage". Yes, antiquities are great; the rest of this year? No.

Which is also why I'm not fond of these "year long" stories, because I think a lot of them has suffered because of it and just feel dragged out. A whole year of the same thing is also quite boring, even if you were to like the theme. Throw in some nonrelated story dlcs into the mix for some variety!

Well the post on the reveal date did mention unveiling “worlds” plural- maybe they’re taking a new approach to zones this year

I really enjoyed Murkmire - definitely up there with my favorites like CWC and Orsinium.
Argonians are almost always irrelevant in the mainline single player games (save for the Dark Brotherhood stuff) so it is a breath of fresh air to finally have them front and center and to see their mysterious culture for ourselves.
To me it is so weird when people basically say that they want to ignore Argonians when they are as integral to the lore as any of the playable races in Tamriel.
I don't particularly care for High Elves but that didn't stop me from playing Summerset and I don't regret learning about their culture. I thought it was a very interesting experience seeing their artificial perfection (also Gryphons are pretty cool imo) and hope to explore more of their conflict with the Sea Elves as I think that is an interesting dynamic. Eagle vs Serpent

For me it looks like we will get new races in 2021. They trying to sell tokens to let us change race now and sale will end before annoucement stream so...
They also proved it same pattern in the past with simillar things.

I'm not sure how possible it would be to retro fit that sort of thing, due to dungeon/boss mechanics. Being an MMO you might ask why, but some do have solo story mode often to unlock the dungeon. If it is possible, eases strain on the group finder, increases sales of anything or even retains a certain part of the player base, it could happen.
