I've seen this mentioned several times and I gotta say, where is this reversal y'all are talking about?
Aside from feeding increasing your stage vs lowering it, vamps do not get stronger for feeding. In fact, vamps get weaker.
Vamps always had the cost ability reduction the higher they were and they always had passives that scaled with stage.
So where's the big reversal changes I see so many people talk about??? In fact, vamps get weaker now for feeding than they did when they fed pre rework.
Feeding to get stronger isn't a bad idea! But, you know, you actually have to get stronger for that to happen. If they just reversed the weakness portion of the vamp line and made their values decrease with stage then boom. Then you actually get stronger as you're fully fed. Why am I just now realizing this at 4 am in bed when designers sit and get paid to think over this stuff?
I literally just realized that aside from flipping stage loss/gain (which means nothing) nothing changed. Wasn't this a big point with the vamp rework?? Surely there is no way the designers missed the whole "get stronger as you feed" memo?
I feel like I must be missing something. All they literally did was add on another weakness and buff the ones vamps already had and made feeding, instead of remove weaknesses, increase them. Isn't that....the opposite of the "feed to get stronger reversal"?
