Did anyone else not get their rewards for the event?

Me and my friend did a dungeon for the event. But neither of us got the box. I already had 12 tickets and he had non. The dungeon was one of the begginer ones because he was only lvl 12. I didn't get it even when i had inventory space.

12 is the maximum number of tickets you can have, so you have to spend them in order to get both the event tickets and the reward box, I guess.

He said he's friend had no tickets previously.

OP which dungeon did you run? Are you sure you did a group dungeon not public one?

same here - got no tickets and no special box. ran 3 dungeons only had 2 tickets at start. Tried on 2 characters and also did the undaunted quest

I thought I didnt get a box, because it didn't appear in the popup text with the other loot on the right hand side of my screen. But when I looked in the containers section of my inventory, the box was there.

Did you do the free quest from the crown store? I did the quest on one character and got the rewards, skipped the quest on another character and didn't get the rewards. Not sure if that is the cause, but the free quest only takes about 3 seconds so it is easy enough.

That's good to know because I did the quest on NA got the box when I completed a dungeon, didn't do the quest on EU and didn't get a box (but got the tickets). I'll try on EU again but this time actually do the quest see if I get the box. Although I mightn't, thinking aboout it, because I got the tickets?? Oh well, I will try anyway.

That is an interesting observation. The first dungeon I did, I got both the box and the tickets, but it was on a character that had previously interacted with the Undaunted. With the second character, she'd JUST turned 45; she did both the event starter quest AND the Undaunted envelope starter quests. She ALSO got both the box & tickets (after reset, of course).

@OP are you SURE it was a dungeon & not a delve? The news article states "The first dungeon boss killed every day..." but if your friend is only level 12 I'd think you were maybe in a delve & not a dungeon. There's also the quest starter available in the Crown store for free - as others have stated, doing that might trigger something. As for why YOU did not get tickets, it's because the max you can hold ON YOUR ACCOUNT is 12 (they are not a per-character currency) so you could not get any more. You need to spend some to make room for more. You CAN get a purple box from a delve but ONLY from the one Bolgrul sends you to & NO tickets are awarded for that one.

All good for event tickets until tomorrow night, when the daily turns - but sucks for trying to get some Monster Sets together now. This is the major chance to run all the cool ish, back to back, dungeon-wise.

I did not get a purple box in one of my runs. Don't know why, but meh nothing I can do about it.

I had a moment were I thought I had missed getting event tickets today. I had a very distracted run in dungeon today (sorry whoever got me in Imperial Prison today). I had somebody waiting for me and another person asking me difficult technical questions while doing the dungeon. I was expecting to be undisturbed. I got to the end and forgot to loot the last boss, left the dungeon and the group. I was wondering why I didn't get my tickets and box, then it hit me that I didn't loot the boss in my hurry. Oops.

I'm on Xbox NA, didn't get to play yesterday when they broke the game and then didn't get my tickets or box today.

My whole group didn’t get a purple box on our elden hollow 2 run we didn’t on vet hard mode. Earlier in the day it happened with another group

I didn’t get a purple box after a dungeon run, on a character I’m pretty sure I didn’t do the undaunted quest on. But I had gotten a golden box with her earlier today. I’d be more annoyed if the loot wasn’t so meh in those boxes (bad luck with RNG I suppose).
Edit: Xbox NA. I duoed with my hubs and he had a purple box in his inventory but he wasn’t sure if that was from a previous run or not, so he was no help lol


Edit (again): when I ported into the dungeon, the crown store said it was down but it wasn’t down for other people not in the dungeon and it came back as soon as we left. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything

While in Spindleclutch 1 Vet the crown store stated it was offline.

We completed the dungeon and no one received loot boxes.

This is a character that has been receiving loot boxes all through the event and has the undaunted quest completed.
