My Stamina Dragonknight Lost it's Bar Swap

The day before the markarth Dlc drop on Xbox, I was playing on NA in cyrodiil. It was getting really buggy that night and I noticed at one point when I went into a battle at a outpost that I was no longer able to bar swap for some reason.
I exit combat and later found it would just put my weapon away every time I hit the D pad to swap bars. I tried different controllers and it wasn't the control.
However Every single other character I have can still bar swap. Just not my Stamina Dk.
I've submitted 2 tickets without a response.
I'm Extremely disappointed because I put alot of work into getting that character were it is and its frustrating to literally not be able to play it.
At first I thought it my just be a bug that would fix itself so I just played other classes characters hoping I could come back to see it fixed.
It's now been almost 2 weeks since the markarth DLC drop I still have the same issue when I'm on that character, it just puts its weapon away instead of bars swapping (Note NO other character I own has EVER had this issue) I've been playing for 3 years and have never seen this before.

Same here, every character is fine except my StamDK. I read this thread below and tried some of the things suggested, and also tried what was suggested in my ticket response, with no luck. My StamDK did have points in Excavation and Scrying, and I cured Werewolf, but resetting skill points has not helped.

In the Email that was sent to me it doesn't have a Ticket number however it does have this "Question Reference # 201117-002921" does this work as well?

That's sucks doooode, I'm sorry to hear your dealing with the same issue. I feel like it wouldn't be as bad if it was a sorcerer because then We couldn't at least use a 1 bar build lmfao

Thanks man, my condolences to you as well, but misery loves company so I'm glad we're in this together.

To be honest I did ok with a 1 bar heavy attack setup in BGs during XvX, but once in a 1v1 scenario it was quite underwhelming. For now I'm on Necro. Of course running Werewolf is also an option, if you really want to play the DK until this is fixed.

I feel it , I went back to my warden because Ive been trying to test this pestilent host set but in order to proc it they need to die with a poison status effect on , which would be perfect on my dk because it would work in conjunction with Venomous Claw. Its a bit to situational to actually be good on a warden due chance on hoping you get a status effect on them with a poison or your shalks. A poison enchantment may just be my best bet next to using snipe to apply a status effect however I don't really want to be snipping people for this to work lmfao.

Yeah, Sub Assault only has a baseline 5% chance of proccing Poisoned per target, I think. I'm also looking forward to trying this set on DK, it sounds like cruise control for Solo PVE.

see I was thinking this set was more unique than vicious death in the way it says "You kill an Enemy" vs "you kill a player" , does this mean this set works on NPC/Guards but can then spread to a player?

Try checking the controller button layout you have set on that character. I know someone else had a similar issue and the controller layout was swapped to use put weapons away instead of the bar swap.

I appreciate your help, however even following these steps, step by step I have not been able to fix the issue. My character still can not bar swap. I even tired it 3 times. The response from support told me to do the same thing that article. It did not work.

By following the steps above given by the admin I went to shrine after the first 2 steps and cleared every skill from everything. After that didn't work. I re followed the steps again. I put a skill on each bar. swapped to my sword and shield and closed the game on that skill screen like it says to. tried to log back in got error code 304 so I shut my game off again , loaded it up and bar swap still does not work.

@Lowbowski5 I mean go into your options menu > gameplay and check to see what your game pad template is set to. It should be the 1st one (Template A). My friends game pad option had somehow gotten swapped to use Template C. So the normal weapon swap button would only sheathe and unsheathe his weapons, in this setup holding B button would swap weapons. Maybe that’s the issue.

Thank you very much @Lucky_jackal! That was the problem for me, it was on Template C. You'd think I would've checked that. I hope that works for you @Lowbowski5.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCHH!!! Its bee almost 2 weeks since I've been able to play one of my favorite characters. And it was because I was on Template 3 without every putting my character on it. In fact I didnt even know there was different templates! Lmfao
