Queing for normal, placed in veteran dungeon party

Twice in the last eight days my underlevel 50 necro has been qued for normal dungeon and added to a veteran dungeon party. Of course I can't enter the zone because of my level, but I still get the cool down timer as a penalty for not going with the party >.>

I heard this also happened to a guildmate leveling a toon, was level 46. Player has max CP.

This is a well-known issue to the players. There have been many threads on the subject and other serious issues with the GF. It even happens with the BG queue.

However, I have not seen Zos comment on this. Until and unless Zos comments on it we can only assume they are not working on it. We had a similar issue a couple of years ago where we were telling zos about a game-breaking issue with the GF. After a year of our threads, it did break the game and Zos said they had no idea the problem existed.

I am hoping Zos does not wait that long to fix the issues that were created with changes they made a few months ago.

Definitely having this bug. Every time I queue today. Really annoying and overall happens way too often.

I've noticed this seems to happen when someone who is CP queues for a normal dungeon but their actual dungeon setting is set to veteran in their own group screen.

Came to the forums for this same reason. So close to having one of my toons hit CP but every time I queue for a normal dungeon as an under-level-50, it keeps putting me in vet dungeon, then I have to quit the group because it won't allow a non-CP toon to port in even if I wanted to, and it penalizes me with a queue cooldown of 15 minutes.

So on top of having to wait like an hour to get a dungeon as a DPS, it puts me in a dungeon I can't do and penalizes me for leaving due to a game bug improperly placing me into content I can't even enter.

I noticed this happens if I put my dungeon setting to Vet but then queue for a normal dungeon - it seems to force all incoming players to a vet dungeon... Maybe 'this' is the bug ??

Well the good news is, after sending a ticket to Support, ZoS has said they are aware of the issue and investigating it. So there should be a future fix.

Bad news is the only "solution" to it until they fix it is to queue with premade groups where everyone has their dungeon status set to "normal". So if you don't have a group to queue with already you can only cross your fingers and hope it queues you correctly for now.

Yeah, dungeon finder is very reliable right now, it's undoubtedly good experience for <50 lvl players. It just happened to my low level toon and it's happening quite often:

I had someone throw their mic on Screaming about this Issue but the Dungeon we where in was actually normal so I wasn't sure why they were so upset
