A humble request to the Devs regarding Translucent Visual Effects - for skills like Hurricane
I have been playing ESO for almost a month now, and it's been so enjoyable. I hit 160 cp and am starting to grind some gear up for noCP PvP.
However, one thing which really spoils my ESO experience is how invasive and overdone the translucent/transparent visual effects are for some skills - especially Sorcerer's Hurricane. I love Stamsorc, but I can't stand to play it since I have to be almost invisible when keeping up Hurricane 100% of the time during combat. I don't want to look like a barely visible neon ghost, it's visually ugly and immersion breaking and in some lighting conditions I can barely even see my own character. I think other classes have similar issues, but it seems Sorcerer is the worst offender.
It would be great if the game Devs could at the very least tone down just how transparent you look during the skill, and make you look a lot more solid when using such skills. Or give players a slider to control how transparent they look. Even better would be changing the visual effects of such skills to be more like Ice Fortress. Ice Fortress is much more palatable and less invasive - you clearly are surrounded by an aura that is added on top of your armor, but at least you don't turn into an actual ghost or have your entire body turned into a glass/ice like structure.
I know many other players share my sentiment, so it would be great if this is at least considered as a viable change to implement in the future.
