Arkthzand Cavern - Stunning example of Imaginative Digital Design.

I just thought I'd post something different to fault-finding, dissatisfaction and anxiety and spend a moment congratulating the designers and the teams responsible for the creation, lighting and distribution of props amidst Arkthzand Caverns.
It and many other places like it always fascinate me with their alternate and contrasting atmospherics to the over-land countryside beautifics and, being an Animation Engineer myself and a Beta tester of the Worlds most Advanced Commercial Animation Software, I can appreciate each models skin, reflectivity, texture, transparency and on and on of all the treats for the eye that we come across
Every environment inspires and drives my thoughts to further hope for astonishment up ahead. I'm not dissappointed.
Sometimes I feel that 90% of its audience/game players, don't appreciate its glory in quite the same manner as someone who has spent countless hours designing their own environments from a 3d dimensional grey blank plane into a heaving lush forest and secret villages but at each turn ESO delights with this stretched ability to throw the imagination visually into arenas that force the mind to accept environments totally alien to the common place... and I thought just for a second its digital creators deserved a pat on the back and I envy their lifestyle of its creation.

What on earth are you talking about?

    I am N. Armstrong.
The Quote below my name was originally devised by Menelaus, Sparta, recorded by Helen of Troy but arrogantly stolen by Emma Watson (whoever she is) (born 15 April 1990 English model!!!!!!) for some reason.

Ahhh yes.... "I just thought I'd post something different to fault-finding, dissatisfaction and anxiety..............................."

Incidentally, if I were the real Neil Armstrong my bank wouldn't cry each morning. :p

Finally you've understood what I mean ;). Treat is as something a foreigner found funny having read the signature "N. Armstrong" first, then the OP with that "3d dimensional grey blank plane" part, before finally realizing what were you writing about up there :). I did not intend to offend you or something, really. Sorry, if you treated it that way.

ESO is absolutely beautiful in its creative aspects.
We just wish that code behind it was equally beautiful, I guess.

I think @Nairinhe means that the accepted "truth" is that the backend code is popularly known as "spaghetti".... Apparently the original coders are long gone, and the current crop don't have the "guidebook" to said spaghetti code.

A disaster of many parts, that.

I sometimes wonder if the FPS from the complexity of objects/props is kept down for the sake of people using early machines or whether CPU out is kept as economically low as poss. for pvp and Obj simplicity / economy rules for that sake.

In short, I would love to see MORE models/props/elements MORE animation and MORE A.I. MORE wildlife... but I use an Animation machine for rendering anyway (not really intended for ESO. :-) Naughty. ) and it never blows smoke when I'm running ESO. I always seem to have a 120fps level no matter what.

In 1995 we used to publish websites online where the user clicked what CPU they ran and what Scr. res. The site displayed what their system would optimally find best.
I wonder if ESO will ever get to that stage.
I cannot imagine what our journey in its worlds will be like at that point.

Basically what @Sylvermynx said. Game is increasingly (what worries me the most) buggy which makes appreciating game's good sides a tad difficult.

    Edit:
I managed to put my finger on it: ESO is like a LotR scribbled with left foot on a roll of toilet paper. Good story? Beautiful. Pleasant to read like this? Uhmmm...

Agree, Skyrim and Markath are beautiful same for cavern really enjoy running around those, that really a god job !
I didn't like skyrim because of quest who was pretty boring and weird written, but in the Reach, the quest, voice acting and writing is beautiful, I really enjoy this area and every npc have something interesting to said about the reach story or life, really a great job !
