Seriously... If this is the way the game will behave from now on regarding positioning in the client vs the server, some of those close range single target skills will really need a more forgiving hitbox check or something. Make it a wider cone or something.

Ambush is also a teleport, so why can't it just transport me to the "real" location of the enemy I see on my screen since the "fake" location on my screen also seems to be a feature now? It would play nicely with the NB fantasy.

    I gave up on ambush in cyrodiil a long time ago... it’s been broken in pvp for a long time, unless the other guy is using it. Then it seems to work perfectly!

    The "TARGET IS OUT OF RANGE" messages is when trying to use Surprise Attack.

    I have no idea whatsoever how people manage to hit anything with Dizzy Swing in the game right now.

    This affects everyone who plays melee.
    Trying to execute ppl, wind up a dizzy etc just to get these messages.
    My favorite is "Target is immune", when they clearly don't have cc immunity xD.

    Dizzying swing has better range than surprise attack and also hits with a cone as opposed to single target, but yeah, surprise attack “misses” quite often.

    Which is why 2H Charge works. It can Morph to add an AoE on contact, and the passive allows you to hit multiple targets.

    Except it's not just one buggy patch release. It's countless buggy patch releases that keep getting piled on top while issues go unresolved for months or years. People have been very understanding for years now and where has that gotten them? The game performance just keeps getting worse and the bug list grows exponentially.

    It's not just this patch... The positioning desyncs started I think about a year ago and kept getting worse. This latest patch just made it even worse for me personally.

    That is what I think should be done to more skills.

    Surprise Attack seems so hard to land now. It is very unforgiving in the single target check.

    Dizzy have 7 meters range, Surprise Attack only 5 meter so actually stamblade have much harder time hitting with their spammable in laggy environment then dizzy users. BTW why surprise attack have the worst melee range attack from all melee spammables (dk have passive that gives them 7 meters but it is dumb as 7 meters should be native value for all melee attacks) is beyond me. They should standarize melee attacks to have 7 meters range (including LA) if they love their spreedsheets so much

    My latency hovers between 90-150, so I think this might be part of the issue.

    The latency tracker in ESO is very unreliable now that it only updates once in a lifetime, but I noticed the problem gets a lot worse when it goes to around 120 or more ping.

    not just stamblade..I've noticed that since the patch there's a considerable delay between preassing a button and a skill firing in every single damn aspect of the game, it's like playing in cyro all the time..it bloody sucks

    Missed you message, but yes. I'm pretty sure it does.

    I retired my StamSorc since I hate the new way it plays after it got the identity pass, but still play StamPlar a lot. I don't have issues with the StamPlar because Jabs is not single target so I can still use it even if I'm not hitting anything.

    I haven't leveled my other stam specs in my PC account yet but I'm sure this is a widespread problem with melee specs with single target abilities.
