Do you have a "want to do everything on that character" that you play every so often?

Darkspecialist
I like tanking on a necro but I don't feel I can do everything on it either cause I can't kill anything because I'm in my 40s and am worried if I invest time on it that it will be the same. I only ask because I can't decide what toon to learn recipes on.

I love this necro tanking just don't it will get me everywhere.

I really only want to play one or two toons right now. Other would be a templar. I can't decide.

How did you decide?

My main is a tank, which I also do achievements, crafting, writs, etc. When you get to higher levels, you can easily adjust gear to get more damage out of your character. At level 40, don't worry about it. After CP160, get your main tanking sets, and look around at ones that cause/boost damage. I wear tanking gear when I am tanking, I have movement speed sets for when I am farming resource nodes, and then some damage boost sets for when I solo.

Just wear different sets depending on the activity you're doing once you hit cp160. My main crafter is the one I found myself playing the most when I first started the game. You should main what you enjoy most.

I have a warden tank and a level 30-ish necro. So far it looks like necro can do just everything - damage, tank, heal. By my experience with tank - you will need to swap at least gear to be able to kill things in reasonable time.

As for original question: yes, I main stamblade, who is supposed to be a DD, but is a questing potato with arena weapons. She's also my crafter and farmer and achievement hunter.

Sorry but i cant play alts in this game, the thought of redoing riding skills, crafting motifs, and the recently ever boring story lines depresses me.

If they made stuff account wide and more interesting like other MMOs then sure, but atm i do everything on one toon.

    Be safe

My StamBlade is my MAIN Main. She does all content first, but when it comes to group roles she's only a DD.

My main is a DPS MagSorc, because she can do everything, including knowing all the Motifs and Recipes.

I have more fun playing my other Healers and Tanks and off DPS characters.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

My MagDK that I play pretty much every day. She can heal, tank, and DPS, and is an absolute nightmare in PVP with the insane amount of damage the class is capable of putting out. Also have plenty of skill points to max out crafting and have all the traits researched.

My only issue is sustain which locks my playstyle into just flame damage to take advantage of the Combustion passive. Also struggle to punch above 50-60k DPS on a trial dummy but that's a me problem since I've seen people make magDK punch way higher.

My main is a necro mag. He's built for DPS but for group dungeons I switch to heal skills and go as a healer. I do this because I feel like I'm not a good enough DPSer. I'm not the best at maintaining a rotation to get maximium DPS. At least as a healer I don't have the high chance of being kicked. But I do everything on him. He's my achievement hunter and crafter.

As for how I decided on this guy, I didn't really decide. It just kind of happened. My first character is a Nightblade and while I enjoyed playing him, it just felt off somehow. Like he didn't fit my playstyle. So when the Necromancer was released I made a second character for fun. Turns out I love playing a Necro more than a Nightblade. Still got the NB and I even have a Warden that I play on occasion.

I do basically everything on my highelf magsorc, quests, trials dungeons.

Play others occasionally just to change things up, try out new things but that is generally the one I do everything on at least first.

My "main" is my first character, Templar healer. Good at solo, pretty short queue times, fun to play. She's my crafter, quest dialogue reader, and all that. All zone stories done, all Cyro shards, all WBs killed, etc.

I will say this: on my tanks, Leeching+Bahraha's+Grothdar is a great way to get around solo. You just wade through everything as they kill themselves and heal you. Not too hard to get. You can even tune the blue CP to optimize the effect without a real penalty in group performance (and I like to use Leeching and Thurvokun for trash anyway, so yeah). But feel free to not worry about any of that until CP160.
    Army of me:
CP810+: Breton Templar healer, Redguard stamina Warden, Imperial DK tank, Altmer magicka Sorceror, Orc stamina Sorceror/werewolf, Nord Necromancer tank, Khajit TG/DB Nightblade, Bosmer stamina Necromancer, Argonian Warden healer, Dunmer magicka DK, Nord Nightblade tank
Second account, CP400+: Breton magicka Warden, Nord Nightblade healer/solo vampire, Bosmer stamina Templar/werewolf, Dunmer magicka Necromancer, Orc stamina DK, Argonian Warden tank

I'm the same as bakthi. My main is also a templar healer that is my first character and I pretty much do everything on him. I do have a lot of other alts, but I just really like doing everything on one character that I like the most.
