Password issue (4th time)

Hey folks,

I had to change my password once again just after logging out (was online 10 minutes ago in game).
I went to the forum and wanted to check something on my account so I began entering my login information, but it would not work. It then sent my a code as I had supposedly entered three wrong passwords. After retrieving the code from my email I was instantly logged into the account area of the website, but my password would not work in game. I have had to change it many times now...more than on other platforms. Why is this so? Are there security breaches I should be worried about concerning my account?

That's because the game's password and forum's password are different since they are two separate accounts.
Resetting your game's password didn't change your forum's password, and then resetting your forum's password didn't change your game's password.
You've been trying to log on with the wrong passwords.

Hey Oddbasket,

It's not that. I must have explained it wrong. It was my account password. Nothing to do with forum (which is of course separate) I just end up calling the ESO website 'forum' out of old habit

Make sure you're not using the right password but with e.g. the caps lock on by mistake. Ensure you aren't using caps lock for a key binding in the game to minimise the chance of mistakes out of the game, and also that you aren't using any form of macro or "peculiar" keyboard or multi-button mouse that might not be working quite as intended especially if it has a battery that might be running low.

None of that is very likely, but it's all on the basis that it would seem to be an issue at your end, given that it isn't a problem that is being reported more generally.
