Requesting simple changes for armor appearance
1) Ability to hide shoulders! I would actually love to be able to hide floating pieces and tassets from any armor, but I realize this would probably require more work. At the very least there should be a hide shoulder option just as there is for helmets.
2) Toggle armor effects. It makes sense to have a visual when something happens — the spirit bear from Selene’s set, for instance — but why are some armor sets cursed with floaty balls??? I loathe the look and it is sooo disappointing when I put on a five piece set I’ve collected only to discover that it’s one of
those sets — ebony, sanctuary and worm’s raiment are those I know of. I’ve heard some people argue that it’s an important visual for PvP but how so??? Most sets (thankfully!) don’t have visual indicators so why must these??? I’m sure there must be some people who like these effects so I’m not saying get rid of them but make it an outfit option to show armor FX or not. Please! I choose my sets as much for appropriate visuals as what they actually do. For instance I love Winter’s Respite and the Chokethorn monster set for my warden healer because it fits with her nature and frost magic (note that both of these are also helpful visuals where something is happening). Please, let us hide constantly effects like glowing red arms and especially those glowy floaty balls!
