Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew the dodge chance in cyrodiil. So many times when you fight a person, they dodge you even when standing still. Is this based on them or me or what is that based on?
It’s not just Cyrodiil — a friend and I dueled in their house, and we noticed we were each seeing “dodged” (not “missed”) when neither of us was roll dodging or otherwise actually dodging. It even happens with ultimates like Onslaught — it can be dodged passively.
it just seems the roll dodge chance is extremely high right now. It seems if you do 10 attacks, 8 of them are avoided, by roll dodging or standing there..just seems super high right now.
That's true and made me wonder too. I fought people numerous times who seemed to dodge my attacks without roll dodging. Dont know how this is possible but it happened and as it seems, I am not the only one to experience it.
Neither my friend nor I was wearing that set when we dueled. (I don’t even have a 5-piece of it.) We still passively dodged each other’s attacks. And Blessed causes people’s attacks to “miss,” last I checked, not for their would-be victims to “dodge.” (Those are two different messages in combat.) I would also find it very hard to believe so many are using Blessed in Cyrodiil.
This is very confusing because the devs removed dodge chance from skills with the rationale that they didn’t want dodge to be passive. So why does it happen frequently without roll dodging, regardless of what sets or skills we’re running?
