Missing bonus loot from Reach Antiquity digs? (and expected crashes)

So on the PTS earlier I was digging around for antiquities, and I got the free ones a few times just to see what was what. I also read that one of the motifs (Ancestral Reach) was obtainable as bonus loot through antiquity digs.
The odd part (which I have submitted on more than one instance as a bug report) was that while I would see three little boxes on my dig screen, once the dig finished, I was only rewarded two items. This led me to believe that the 3rd item was supposed to have been the motif, but there was no dice. Either way, whether it's a motif or not, there's a discrepancy. Three bonus items discovered (because finding all three ended the dig), but only two items received.
(also, when I dug up the purple treasure lead, my game crashed. wooooo)
anyone else run into these issues at all?

Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.

I also decon'd a briar item and got an Etched Bronze. So it seems Ancestral Reach = Reach Winter?
Would be nice if Briar got a lick of paint. Should have tested wearing briar body pieces.0
