At lvl 47 I keep getting refused entry to normal Dungeons, -as I don't have enough Champion points!

Obviously this is a bug, 1 they're normal dungeons and 2 I have over 300 CP anyway.

This has absolutely ruined my night:
I queued for normal random and 3 dungeons in a row I couldn't port into due to "Not Being Max Level or not Having Enough Champion Points", ridiculous. Finally got into 1 and it was a fake tank n healer in HollowFang so we just died on the Rock Boss over and over so I left.
Join another and there's no fourth member, eventually disbands. Reque. Same again, no fourth, disbands. Que again. This god damn bug returns and I can't enter, get kicked and can't que.

So I've done ***-all tonight and not got my daily done despite playing the char for 3 hours, and apparently this is a common bug? How is ZoS not addressing this?

Well when something is working as intended, why bother addressing it? Much like the servers?

    I'm sorry to hear this.....
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

If you’re under level 50 on that toon, the game disregards your CP for the purpose of queuing for dungeons. That’s not a bug.

What is a bug is the fact that the dungeon finder is trying to put toons under the requisite CP into vet dungeons instead of normal. That’s a very common bug right now, unfortunately, and they are “aware” of it and “investigating” a fix:

That's no what is happening; the game is NOT disregarding my CP points- it specifically gives me a message about my CP points(not being enough).

Nor is the game putting me in vet dungeons. Two times I've asked both grps have replied it was a normal dungeon with some other sub 50 members.

What you described in the OP fits the symptoms of this bug exactly.

If you are on a level 47 toon, the dungeon finder does not acknowledge your CP at all by design. That’s why you will find you can’t queue for vet DLC dungeons with it even though you have 300 CP, at which point all dungeons on all difficulties are open to a max level toon. You could have a CP 3600 account, and your level 47 toon would still not be able to get into a vet DLC dungeon through the LFG finder. Your 300 CP are irrelevant for queuing purposes when you’re on a sub-50 toon. That’s working as intended.

The problem is that the dungeon finder is currently bugged so that it is frequently trying to put sub-50 toons into vet dungeons they can’t get into, even when they’ve queued for normals, resulting in the toons being kicked from the queue with a 15-minute deserter penalty. The message is just not nuanced enough to tell you it has tried to put you in a vet dungeon by mistake and then rejected you upon realizing you’re sub-50. Keep in mind your error message: you are not max level *or* you don’t have enough CP. You aren’t max level on that toon. Only one condition needs to be true for the group finder to deny you entry to the dungeon it’s trying to send you to. If you were max level, the LFG would see you as level 50 CP 300 and let you in. (In that case you’d have to deal with the pleasure of getting a vet dungeon when you queued for normal.)

When the queue bugged and tried to put you in vet by mistake, you got kicked with the message that you weren’t high enough level. The mistake was that it tried to put you in the vet version (without telling you), not that it didn’t let you in. You never actually saw the inside of the vet dungeon for that reason. You only saw the error message and the deserter penalty. When the queue did what it was supposed to, you got into the normal-difficulty dungeons as you should have, but it sounds like you couldn’t finish the dungeons with the particular groups you drew.

It's happening to me too. It's because the leader has his/her group set to Veteran and queued a Normal. The system thinks its a vet dungeon even tho it isn't so it won't let non qualified vet players in. Really annoying.

Like every other "Bug" in ESO, it's not a bug its an unintended feature you can enjoy forever.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

I started a similar thread. I'm a vet player and it's pretty awful when you enter a normal random dungeon to find the other 3 players can't enter because of this bug, which no one has acknowledged. It's not only frustrating, but a huge waste of time for everybody.

I had this happen to me last night.

I queued for a random dungeon on a lvl 20 character. Max CP (Or very, very close), but I still couldn't get in according to the errant message.

The Group menu implied it was a veteran dungeon, something I should not have been placed in at lvl 20.

    Really annoying.
